I've been thrifting for 40 years. Back in the day you could find clothes from the 1920's. Beautiful quality & well made. A mohair cardigan with pearl buttons cost next to nothing

I know it's a gloomy, rainy day there, and I Am Jealous. Rainy gray days are my favorite, and yet here I am living in Texas and it's been over 100 degrees F for 2 weeks and looking at another 2 weeks...Heat & Sunshine. 🥵🔥 I really liked that little nude-colored crop top that you tried on. Looked great on you! My faves are the red velvet jacket (I have a similar one in dark green that I like with beat up jeans and funky boots) and the gorgeous bright plaid men's shirt. It's almost like a kimono. That is fabulous.

So many cute things. My favorite is the colorful plaid shirt. You can also try tieing at the waist. Or leave unbuttoned and criss cross and tuck into your bottoms.

Those prices are abit much in some of those op shops. I have to donate some stuff I would rather give them away for free to people that need them in these hard times. There is a couple near me I going to check them out.

My favorite was the white cropped top for Hawaii and everything else looked amazing on you as well. I found a Johnny Was crochet sweater at a local flea market for 6 dollars this weekend it is so beautiful and I started listed on postmark. I am already a Posh ambassador, I love having my own little mini closet store and someday my goal is to quit my pre k job (not really loving it at all ) and travel to see my kids, grandkids and my sisters in Florida and my cousins In Italy.

When you were wearing the extra large men’s plaited shirt and jerseys, I couldn’t help but imagine that it was once owned by an overweight middle aged man… how do you get over the thoughts of your clothes being previously owned by someone else?
For me, thrifting clothing is like digging into archives of past fashion eras. I disregard gender and any other type of labelling on how a piece is meant to be worn. Instead, I make the garment work for me and my personal style 🤷♀️
The Velvet Blazer and Vintage Green Cable Knit have to be my favourites, such good finds. do you clean up your velvet at all or is most of it always in brilliant condition?
