I love how different the two of them fight and use their godly powers. The Blue one seem to be more experienced in using these powers as he shows how much he mastered it as is first shown at 0:41, 2:44 and 3:15 where he is able to mutate and change his body to whatever he needs. He fights in a way where he focuses more on the usefulness rather than elegance or being conventional to the point of becoming monstrosity shown in again 3:15 and 3:40. His fighting style is more wild and chaotic that he doesn't care what he looks like or what he will become while Black is more textbook, using weaponry, enhancements and more conventional powers that is until 4:25 where he is learning from his rival and slowly start to use more crazy and powers that bend his body like shown in 4:25 and 4:32. This shows how the 2 different sides are unique on their own fighting style and way of thinking and how they learn from each other.
TL:DR - Blue is more experienced than Black in using these godlike powers while Black slowly learns from his counterpart.
edit: I would like to add how Blue hammers down on how better he is than Black when in the end Black uses again a crazy move which he wouldn't normally use which destroys terrain BUT he again only focused on the conventional use of it which is restraining Blue's movement which backfires when Blue uses them as stepping stone to reach him where he then proceeds to beat Black as his own game with weaponry and probably enhancements too.
I totaly read all of that and did NOT imideatly skip it. Nice co...ment.

You know what’s great about this battle ? It’s that we don’t know them at all and with just one frame, one little detail, one little thing we can understand what their personalities are, the black one is a serious guy and just wants to win and prove his dominance but the blue one is chiller but also creepier and this is why the back one lost, he over thinks while the blue one let his body work on his own and he is not quite serious but he also is kinda serious and this is why it’s amazing ! We know who they are by one battle !

well i can imagen a (3d in the sense like T.A.B.S or Sword with Sauce are) game where there is a random generated structure that is made out of several rooms.
you and your friends (up to 4 players, more players = more rooms/bigger structure) can choose in what room each of you wants to start. if two players pick the same room its either voted for or just randomly chosen who gets that room, the other guy has to choose another room.
every room features enemies or traps/ parcour. for every room cleared you get a level up point
( maybe there can be big rooms that will give more points but will also feature more difficult enemies).
With every point you can unlock a super power, much like the characters in this video.
there will be alot of super powers and weapons and every power/ weapon will have atleast two upgrades.
each upgrade costs one point more then the last. i like to think you can upgrade your fists (i imagen this is your beginning weapon/power) about 5 times.
the only thing i cant figure out is how to make a easy and quik select a move thing if there are so many specials and weapons each with their own ups and downs, because some of the weapons/abilities will need cool downs and you will also will have to change to specific/best suited moves for some sitouations.
When players meet each other, they have options: Fight, go back the way you came in or just go to a next door/ hole blasted in the wall.
you win if all other players are dead.
please tell me what you think. also someone please make an actual game out of this!

I don't think a stick animated fight could be better. The complexity of the movements are insane!
Funnily enough this fight shows that both the black fighter & blue fighter share identical abilities but it seems blue just either has more experience with the powers or just has a slightly stronger version of it than black. Really epic fight. Feels like these two are some of the strongest stick figure combatants i've seen yet.
I think blue just went mad with power and became a monster while black tried to keep himself together. You can tell that when blue starts smiling near the end you can see that the power has driven him mad

I've watched plenty of anime & have seen the type of characters who are driven mad by power &, though i see how you could fit blue as that type, i feel that blue falls into the category of one who seems to get more excited as the fight gets more intense.
I say this bc at the start blue had a very calm & relaxed face (showing me that he had confidence that he likely thought he wasn't gonna lose) in contrast to black who's face seemed a touch more serious & a bit concerned (showing me that he likely felt this was gonna be an uphill fight), & only when blue starts sustaining damage does he then start smiling insanely & getting more into it. Honestly, looking at the earlier parts of the fight, black looked like he got more hits in & had the upper hand for the most part which, imo, shows that blue wasn't too serious till he started getting excited. I feel black's demeaner wasn't so much him trying to maintain control but more him just taking this dead serious bc he feels his opponent is strong enough that he can't afford to take this lightly, unlike blue who, imo, felt the gap was enough that he didn't have to be to serious about the fight till he actually started sustaining damage from black.
& lastly, when blue sees black is down & exhausted he just chills down again & is disappointed that black seemed to be at his limit by calling him pathetic. To me, blue behaving like that seems like the disposition of one who knows he is strong & bc of that he gets excited when a challenge comes along bc he doesn't get a good challenge too often.
I feel if power was driving blue mad he would not have stopped the fight when black was down but he would have just proceeded to murder black in his power drunk frenzy. That's my 2 cents on it anyway.

@《Kev》 Interesting & cool thought you have there. Can you highlight the part (or parts) where you feel that happened? If that is the case then that would still show Blue has reason to be confident so i wouldn't totally dismiss the idea of Blue being a power stealer.
@《Kev》 What time was that at? Bc if you watch carefully blue actually did the arm shooting thing first. Then black did a somewhat weaker version of that near the end of the fight. So by that logic didn't black steal blue's power? (Which would even more justify why blue had a stronger version since blue was the original & black was the copy cat.)

I like this. Despite the name being dominance, they both held ground. Although it seems Blue is the more powerful, he seems to be having fun more than anything. The way he morphs his body and reassembles it adds to this as well. Then again, he could be one of those chaotic types that loves combat, especially against a worthy opponent. His smile seemed to imply so. But he could also be holding back. Guess I'll never know.
To me Blue seem to be more experienced in using the godly powers which is shown where he seldom uses weapons and is able to bend his very own body to his will which shows how familiar he is in using it while Black is more focused or more calculative way of using the godly powers where he mainly uses weaponry, enhancements and more conventional methods which shows how inexperienced he is compared to Blue. Though I way this, Black IS learning from his rival such is shown in 4:25 where he uses a move which Blue used earlier but a moment later it becomes obvious that he is still new to this way of fighting and a couple moments later in 4:32 he uses a big move which he rarely does BUT then again he does it mainly for utility which shows that his calculative mind hindered him from truly understanding the way Blue fights which is wild and more depends on instinct and Blue took advantage of this as he used the broken ground that Black made to hinder the movement of Blue which Blue used as stepping stones to reach him and used a weapon(a sword) to beat Black at his own game.

Blue isnt op he just cought up to speed. Black lost because he was focus on strength based attacks. Basicly there both op. This was just a compitision between the two stickmen to see which is a better fighter. Also based on this vid only a god can kill them anyway.

the fact that so many different animators can come together and apply their own style to the same story/short film is incredible
Okay!! I think I figured it out! Tell me what you think.
These two sticks lived their whole lives as subtle outcasts because of their amazing power. They found each other and realized they finally found a worthy opponent. So they organized this battle to test the limits of their power, making up insane tactics and growing more intense and more abominable abilities as time went on, such as growing limbs, weaponizing fluids, becoming monsters, breaking apart and coming back together...a normal person would fear them. They have to organize this battle in rounds because accomplishing momentary damage is the only way they can gauge their progress. They know, going in, they may die, or at least suffer immense pain, but they're ready because they have to know how strong they can be, after all these years. It sort of drives them insane. The black stick didn't allow himself to be as eldritch or insane or monstrous as blue did, so he lost, but he kept some humanity intact.
Stealthlock or maybe they're just bored as fuck, and decided to kick each others asses just cause.

Speed - Subsonic - Transonic - likely higher as they transcend themselves
IQ/BIQ - Equal
Experience - Equal
Hax - Both have Reality warping, Elasticity Manipulation, Shapeshifting, Regeneration, Teleportation, Fire manipulation, Physics manipulation (the scene with the gun) Clone creation, Limited pain nullification.
Durability: Blue maybe, both are likely immortal as they transcend themselves, but I have to give this to Blue, Black sliced him up multiple times only for Blue to continuously regenerate, but both likely have better durability as they transcend
Immortality - Equal, likely better immortality as they transcend
I'd say they are both large Island level but likely higher, they don't show any feats that put them above island level but that's pretty good scale and they can solo a bunch of anime verses

Andrew, you need to make more of this type of fighting. I've had to re-watch that like 20 times now, and each time it gets even more amazing. Over the top damage to the surroundings, insane speeds, lots of power behind each hit, and you see and hear it. Just. Dang.
Moral of the story: Cool looking and well-animated violence is always the answer

my dream of becoming a gamer, game designer, and artist basically thrive from seeing awesome work like this I truly envy you and hope one day I can make my own that is just as fluid but surpass even something like this and prove that I'm willing to give it my all to reach my creative desires, but in all I am taking it step by step to hopefully one day be able to do drawings and animations like this.
