You kinda lost me there because most stick fights are inspired by anime(most of the fights on this channel included) so I'm not entirely sure what constitutes a stick fight other than y'know, sticks fighting.
ILikeCHEEZ9 well usually when cameras make dramatic close ups, and move unrealistically fast with the characters it makes me feel like I’m watching a movie than just a wide view of sticks fighting. Also...FACES!!!

The animation was very impressive and every single animator here has insane talent. But compared to the first one, I’m disappointed at how cinematics and effects are more important than the fight choreography itself. Big ups to Yeon, Amu, Betelz, Cat and Ziyuechen for balancing awesome fight choreography with awesome effects and visuals in their parts.
Honestly yeah So much people are so hung up in 2019 about fanch effects and ultra fluid animation that ones that are good at story, fight scenes, and character are ignored. People are forgeting what makes a great animation or animated series

Toriyama is a master of conveying impact and speed, and he always used diffrenent poses and shit. In fact, name me a canon dragon ball fight and I will (without looking it up) describe you two iconic moments from it. That' s how good the action is.

Holy shit... What fast-paced, kinetic and frantic fighting! I can't wait to watch this over and over again, just like I did with the last Dominate. Absolutely incredible, outstanding work from every animator giving it their all.

The 'Dominate' franchise is without a doubt the best animated fights I've ever seen, and I've seen alot. Amazing job, well done Hyun's Dojo! The sequel was a nice surprise and even exceeded my expectations. Although I am sad that we never got the winner :(.

something i forgot to mention in my other comment was a short little power scale i made of these charachters in the first part it seemed that blue had the upper hand in most fights that involved any type of weaponry while the black charachter seemed to beat blue in hand to hand combat making them an equal match all in all. blue also seemed to take on more forms and supernatural powers where as black to me looked more like he was focussing on technique and brute strength. in this second part the matchup seems to be a little more simple in a way but with an added bonus of a lot more powers and abilities used in this part i noticed that blue seemed to use his speed more often making him an agile type fighter and black seemed to again rely more on brute strength rather than speed. i don't know if this was done on purpose or if i'm just seeing things but to me this was awesome and it really made my imagination go ham like it did when i watched part 1 for the first time good job guys
You know what would be badass? If in part 3 (if there would be a part 3) a new guy shows up. Red... (or any other color, doesn't matter as long as you can tell who is who) and now, you have blue and black working together to stop him. That would be epic.
The story can be: These two are immortal gods of 2 different world and are also friend, they usually fought each other to test each other strength or to see who is superior, Black may have lost a lot in their previous duels resulting in the "Pathetic" line in the ending of Part 1, their battle continues on and since they're immortal the only way to find out the winner can only be to fight till one got tired or ran out of power, in the end of this fight they both collapsed cuz they used up a great deal of their power in Part 1 ( cuz there is no sign of the previous battle being put off on a break so it's a direct continuation of when black got punch into a wall). . Well that's just my theory

Okay don’t get me twisted combat gods amazing animation but in my eyes the first dominate was better then it and got nowhere near enough recognition it should have on TH-cam so I hope people really pay attention to this one on here cuz this was extremely well made and as a long time fan it really makes me happy to see this

As a fan this was superb, loved every bit of it. Eyecandy in form of amazing animation and VFX and earcandy in form of SFX, high energy throughout. From a critical standpoint it falls a bit shorter that Dominate imo. Loved the camera angles and VFX in this one more but the scenes felt less like one fight and more like a bunch stitched together probably because of the abundance of big explosions compared to the first. That's also why i loved the fight choreography of the 1st one more because I could imagine them fighting in a unified 3D space, here i felt a bit lost and didn't know where they were relative to the previous "phase". As for the music choice I preferred the original Dominate. Here it felt like background filler, as for in the first one it helped elevate and structure the fight more (as in give pump up fights at times while giving breathing room at other instances...etc) but that could be just me. By no means am i saying this is bad, this is impressive in all ways possible, compared to the 1st one tho it wasn't as jaw-dropping. However it's understandable since it's always hard to followup on such a great hit. Amazing job everyone ^-^
The first dominate is still better imo, of course the second one is good too, but the level is just too different. Although I can see that the animators in this collab try to use as many angle shots as possible instead of traditional 2D angle where two stick fights on a plane. Still, the first one is in a level none can top for now.

By no means am i saying this is bad, this is impressive in all ways possible, compared to the 1st one tho it wasn't as jaw-dropping. However it's understandable since it's always hard to followup on such a great hit.

I love both part 1 and part 2! God damn these are awesome!!!
The first dominate is still better imo, of course the second one is good too, but the level is just too different. Although I can see that the animators in this collab try to use as many angle shots as possible instead of traditional 2D angle where two stick fights on a plane. Still, the first one is in a level none can top for now.
