Hey loves. Here is my attempt at DIY Balayage + Ombre hair at home. Please disregard that annoying loud noise in the background (it was really cold and the heat was on as I was filming)
I really had a hard time while applying Quick Blue (bleach). Two packs were not enough for my hair length. If I would do it all over again, I would get 3 packs and bleach smaller sections of my hair. Although I struggled, I ended up loving my hair. Hey, if i can save some time and money by DIY then why not? I really hope you enjoyed this video. P.S BRAD MONDO PLEASE DON'T COME FOR ME LOL

I am a cosmetologist. The reason why your hair lightened so much is because it was in foils. It looks amazing for an at home job it almost looks professional. One thing I would focus on next time is more face framing but other than that you are a beauty and you rock sunshine

Gosh great job. I just did my hair and it’s sooooo brassy and yellow like. I was in chair for 7 hours total with a BB as well. My hair refused to lighten up enough. And it’s not as dark as your at all. 470$ later 😡😭 I’m still not truly happy. Not sure how to fix it.

Not sure what radiator you're talking about (hopefully you meant radio) but between the loud music and all the talking before you even got to the demo, I completely lost interest.
I just paid 240 for "balayage" they left if just a shade lighter ... And they want me to go back ANOTHER visit and pay another 190 in two months... I FEEL RIPPED OFF
This is one of the reasons why I was skeptical about going to a salon because they would not understand my vision and let's get real, it's not cheap either

P.S. when the hair in the foils are processed to the level you want if they are processing unevenly you can spray those hairs down out of the foil with water and wipe the lightener off. This will give you time to let the other sections process👌
You are the best for this tip! I was bleaching my sisters hair and didn’t know what to do so I ended up just rinsing half of her head while other sections were processing cuz it was taking so long 😂 next time I’ll do this

I mean for not being a professional and doing it all on my own with such long hair, it didn’t really take that long compared to a salon which normally takes up to 6-8 hours😅😅😅😅 Also, I really think the fact that my hair was completely virgin pre bleaching, it did get help get it lighten up faster? 🙏🏼😭 but thank you so much doll😻❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
Yes my virgin hair takes bleach extremely well and quickly (most do).... It's when you have dyed hair that is the result tricky part because you don't know how your hair is going to lift.

Wow. I had to come to you to do my ombre. The other day i went to do ombre and the hairdresser burnt my beautiful newly grown hair. Well i have never done the roots of my hair. In total I did 4 time hilights and ombre to it, and this last time was horrible. So the next da i went to another hairstylist to save my hair, although it was so damaged that i had to cut it and she put a beautiful iris purple and few serums to my hair. She spend 3 hours fixing carefully my hair. Now its so amazing. I can touch and feel real hair...

ROXELL I think she said that because of how thick of sections she was putting in each individual foil. It’s supposed to be paper thin sections in each foil, but she tried her best and this is what TH-cam is for. 👍🏼

Don’t be scared it’s honestly hard to fuck up lol 😂 since it looks like re growth anyways just make sure you have CLEAN hair and do FOILS in sections starting from the bottom in a V then across, V then across parted... Jamie Dana is who I watch for my balayage because she is a professional but I loved this too
