[BDO 2021] Which Carrack Should You Build? Simplified Overview to Help You Decide

Hello there! I made this short video to go over the factors I used personally to decide on which Carrack to build. I did end up going for all four, but I hope this video help new people deciding to go into bartering to pick the ship they would want for their own.

I have a volante and a week away from either an advance or balance. I have not decided which but leaning to the advance.

**Correction:
Balanced have 12 seconds cannon reload throughout up to blue gear
Advanced and Volante base accel on the Green +10 should be 105% and 115% respectively

if you want to get anywhere and not fall asleep, most def volante, then later get bal or adv if you want to do port lahn trading with a master 10-15 trader(10 for port, 15 for grana)

Once you will get your first carrack, building the second one is easier.

right now im having hard time to choose either advance or balance, cuz mostly people said go for advance since balance literally a meme, but i kinda love balance to begin with since the stag deer looks beautiful, but yeah still i cant make a choice

I feel you, the Jade Stag costume is too good ! But if you are planning on bartering just for 1 ship, get the one you would really like since you would be staring at it all the time. The new phantom ship area drops crystals that can boost stats you want but you have to grind for them a bit if you want the yellow grade ones. I was in you place a few years back and just decided to build all 4 :)

Isnt green gear the same for all carracks? Why do advanced and volante have a higher increase in accel than the valor and balance? Did not look for other stats maybe something was wrong there. And the balance should have 12 sec reload

Yes you are correct, noted it in pinned message. Used data with a Quick Witted Sailor when I was charting my stats for the accel. Also balance does indeed have 12 seconds throughout up to blue gear

Hey, do you think it would be faster to trade crow coins for brilliant or to do the barters? I'm currently 1300 trades..

Hey Randy! I recommend you do it through the barters. Brilliant mats are not the only one you need and more often than not you get the Brilliants you need before the Blue Gear used for upgrading to Carrack

Would depend on the sailors, but bare ones I with good aim, I would go with Valor

As a free to play makes zero difference to what you choose. You either want the extra speed or the extra slots.

I bought the ship skin on the shop, not knowing that to equip it, I would need to go to hell and back to use it. That's awfull.

i "was" fighting other ship still my really really low HP then change to another carrack near the aerial to rejoin the sinking fest

Upgrading to the improved version of either sailboat or frigate is not necessary, it’s actually a huge waste of time and silver

You are so wrong...I can carry 24 yellow or red trade goods at a time and 3 sailors to boot. More barters more silver

Can you sleep in the bed?

Unfortunately you can't sleep on the carrack bed for energy, but you can make your character crawl and appear like you are sleeping on it though
