Im a sayyid, born and raised in malaysia with sunni education but alhamdulillah i never accept sunnism the very first day i had been introduced to sunnism. Alhamdulillah my serach for my amcestory lead me to the real islam.

He brings down anti-shia sentiment and movement by move close with Iran diplomatically and promotes unity among Muslims nation in fighting with the Zionist and organized the famous KL islam summit in 2018. I can say during dr mahathir 2nd tenure as PM , he turns Malaysia 180°, he even sends our top generals to Iran for a military diplomatic mission. These change the mindset of people here. The problem with Malaysia is that anti shia movement is mobilized by the deep state within the government and these people are actually followers or supporters of Saudi. And these current situations in gaza even change the people's perspective on shia. They now slowly acknowledge that shia is their brother in faith not the enemy. More and more people started to realize that sunni shia riff is Zionist play.

What an exceptionally enlightening and informative lecture on the truth behind Sunni Islam. The non-Shia are broken into so many groups that they themselves don't have a clue what they are. Alhamdullilah, we held onto the Qur'an and Ahlulbayt. Alhamdullilah, we are Shia. 🙌🏻

Unfortunately, hate has replaced critical thought amongst many people who call themselves Muslims. They would rather follow their ancestors than the teachings of the alhlulbait. There is no point arguing with them. Let them believe what they want and we will follow what we know to be true. Every single Sunni scholar will admit the events of ghadeer happened and that the prophet appointed Imam Ali as his only successor. He also stated many times anyone against Ali and his family has strayed from the path. These hadiths are in their books, yet they follow the people who fought and killed the ahlulbait. This is enough proof for us, so let them do what they want. We will continue to follow the path of knowledge and love (which is also why there are 0 Shia terroriri$+s in the world while every single extremist violent group has been from other schools of thought.)

Shia imams are from madina and from the house of Prophet PBUH, but sunni imams came from faraway lands with no blood relations to the PROPHET PBUH.
There was a public opinion propgated by the early governments that the household of the PROPHET PBUH has turned into kafirs (nauzbillah) thats why most of the hadiths and literature has been preserved our the years is narrated by people other than the household of PROPHET/the Ahlul bayt a.s.
The general public who didn't like the ahlul bayt a.s was mostly sunni. It was the sufis who came later and ignited a small amount of light of love of ahlulbayt a.s in the some of the sunni people thats why they do respect ahlul bayt a little bit now a days. Hadn't been the sufis, all sunni will still have the same hate towards ahlul bayt a.s.
بسم اللّٰہ الرحمٰن الرحیم یا رب محمد وآل محمد صل علیٰ محمد وآل محمد و عجل فرج آل محمد علیہم السلام ۔

Sunni means following the actual Sunna of the prophet. In reality we (Shia) are the Sunni
Call them Omari’s or Bakri’s.
Sayed Sistani may Allah lengthen his life and protect him, says, Sunnah are not our brothers but ourselves; because we are the true sect following the sunnah if prophet وآلـﷺـه 🤓
And the sunnis say we are rhetoric real Shia of Ali ibn Abi Talib, don't call them Shia call them rawafid.

I am neither shia nor sunni but i do think that sunni orthodoxy is defined by what it's not especially when it comes to shafii and hanbali sects and i view it personally as an attempt to monopolize the religion(futile of course since allah subhanah wa taalaa said his religion is one) i think hanbalis/salafis/wahabis(collectively of course i met many decent and respectable individuals from those schools of thought)really stand in opposition to unifying the ummah through discourse by the cheer amount of takfir salam

As salam u alykum,
I am sunni, and a average muslim at best. Student of comparative religion. I love my Shia brothers and I ask Allah to unite the hearts and minds.
I have a few problems with this. With a great deal of respect to the sheikh.
Definition by negation is not uncommon.

Sunni shia is not a theological divide but a political one. We both believe in one Allah. Creed of Imam Tahawi is generally accepted and in line with shia thought, if interested.
These differences in school of law and school of theology is not a hidden or concealed topic, nor one that the average Muslim needs to concern themselves with unless they need evidence of the chain of knowledge and how laws are developed.
Sunni's take from Imam Ali(RA) and from the Bayt. Shia do not have sole claim so sunni have knowledge from Bayt and the rest of the sahabi, the others you do not take from so the understanding is more expansive.
The arguments are formulated like these are problems but no Sunni considers these "problems."
My biggest issue in all of the brothers' lectures is the principle of having a good opinion (husn al zthan). Not cursing people we are no where near in caliber.
The brother in another lecture said Allah curses so and so, so I curse so and so. The wrath of Allah is not our wrath.
Allah may hate firaun, but he told Musa(as) to go and speak gently with him.
Follow the bayt, it is a valid path. Narrations from Aisha(RA) are valid hadith and explain so much we as muslims otherwise would not have known.
In regards to the prophet (SAW)'s parents. As muslims we do not place people in heaven or hell, aH we have Allah for that. There are rulings and ahkam based on the ahkam scholars may have gave opinions but every scholar of any intelligence says "Allah knows best."

I would disagree that the Sunni Shia split is political. Although the Sunni Shia split seems political because one group followed Imam Ali AS and the rest followed Abu Bakr, you must understand that us Shia view the Ahlulbayt as having divine authority whereas you see it as who is the political leader of the Islamic state. The concept of Imamah in Sunni theology is not very stamped into the religion compared to the way us Shia take Imamah - it is a part of our usool Al Deen (roots of religion).
The Shia take on Sahaba is that we categorise them : some were very good, some were not necessarily bad but never followed Imam Ali AS, some were hypocrites and some were also power hungry. The Shia don’t have the general view that the Sahaba were the best of people after the Prophet SAW, because its actually not logical according to Islam and history of Prophets. For example, Bani Israel betrayed Nabi Musa AS, so what we can understand is that previous companions of previous prophets were not always the best of people otherwise there would be no need for Prophet Muhammed SAW to come after Musa AS and Isa AS to perfect the religion of Islam. Also im not too sure about this, but there is very little reports, narrations etc taken from the Ahlulbayt in Sunni literature, from this I mean, the Sunni won’t take any Hadiths or knowledge from someone like Imam Sadiq AS, ironic that he was the teacher of 2 of the Sunni schools of Fiqh.
As for cursing, listen to the lecture where Ammar talks about cursing Yazid Ibn Muawiyah.
As for Aisha, the Shia will reject anything from her because she fought the successor of the Prophet SAW, and therefore went against Allah SWT‘s hujjat(proof) on earth.
Now I’m not aware on the authenticity of this Hadith below, but it clearly highlights why our view on Aisha is not positive :

Narrated Abu Wail:
When `Ali sent `Ammar and Al-Hasan to (the people of) Kufa to urge them to fight, `Ammar addressed them saying, "I know that she (i.e. `Aisha) is the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) in this world and in the Hereafter (world to come), but Allah has put you to test, whether you will follow Him (i.e. Allah) or her."
In regards to the parents of the Prophet SAW, essentially what you are saying is that Allah SWT knows best, so we shouldn’t start talking about whether they would be in heaven or hell. But you must understand that in Sunni literature, it talks about the parents of the Prophet SAW dying as kaffir. Also, the uncle of the Prophet SAW, Abu Talib AS, in Sunni literature, is mentioned in being in the shallow end of hell. The only reason us Shia wish to argue on this matter is because in Sunni literature the family of the Prophet SAW ( meaning father, mother, grandfather and uncle are all described as ending up in hell). This is wrong brother. Let’s start with the mother of the Prophet SAW, Aminah bint Wahab, Sunni claim she was a kaffira, therefore would go to hell. But I ask you, the mother of Isa AS is amongst the best women in Islam, a whole surah called after her name, Maryam, so why would Allah SWT have the mother of the best creation of Allah SWT being a kaffira?. Secondly, the father of the Prophet SAW‘s name was Abdullah so I won’t event go any further on that. The grandfather of the Prophet SAW is the one who named the Prophet SAW Muhammed, obviously he must have been inspired by Allah SWT to come up with the best name. And lastly the uncle of the Prophet SAW, Abu Talib, is the one who raised the Prophet SAW, organised the wedding of Khadija with the Prophet SAW. The father of Imam Ali AS.
Inshallah, you can understand Shia Islam in the position of my heart and the hearts of those who love Ahlulbayt.
It isn't political, Abu Bakr and the rest left the prophet burials and choose to go saqifa. He saw the need of successor on his death bed.
Do u actually believe our prophet didn't appoint a successor but told which day to cut out nails.
Even Sunni have hadiths stating follow the Qur'an and Ahlalbayt. Only the infallible can deduce jurisprudence and sunnah from the Qur'an.
Prophet appointed Imam Ali(a.s) at Gadeer e Qum. That was his commands and that started the Imamat. Sunni believes in the 12 th imam, imam Mahdi who is the children of Fatima but not the imams.
Respected brother read this Ayat in Arabic too Allah is cursing clearly you can check the madudi version if you prefer it says the same
Sahih International: Indeed, those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment.
Pickthall: Lo! those who malign Allah and His messenger, Allah hath cursed them in the world and the Hereafter, and hath prepared for them the doom of the disdained.
Yusuf Ali: Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment.
Shakir: Surely (as for) those who speak evil things of Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the here after, and He has prepared for them a chastisement bringing disgrace.
Muhammad Sarwar: Those who annoy God and His Messenger will be condemned by God in this life and in the life to come. He has prepared for them a humiliating torment.
Mohsin Khan: Verily, those who annoy Allah and His Messenger (SAW) Allah has cursed them in this world, and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating torment.
Arberry: Those who hurt God and His Messenger -- them God has cursed in the present world and the world to come, and has prepared for them a humbling chastisement.
Also about the prophet pbuhf parents their are verses to prove that Prophets pbut parents are all Muslims

We are Muslims and that for me is more important because Allah named us so. Allah will definitely judge us hence instead of holding grudges against one another, let’s consider the Quran and the prophet (SAW) and leave that which is doubtful. Allah knows best 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

After Ali passed away, the Ummayad ruled. Most of the Ummayad caliphs were not religious. The Caliphs rely on the scholars for fatwas. Imam Malik lived in Medina. He was a scholar, and he gave fatwas.
Abu Hanifa lived in Iraq, and he gave fatwa.
The 4 schools are called school of jurisprudence.
There was one great caliph from umayyad , named umar bin abdul azeez

Most of the Ummayad and Abbasid Caliphs and governors were not God-fearing and lived lavish lifestyles. These people were political leaders, NOT religious leaders. That's why they rely on the 4 fiqh imams(scholars) for fatwas,solutions, etc.
All the 4 imams were tortured by the Caliphs and governors of their time. Abu Hanifa was poisoned.
Finally, Hulagu Khan invaded and destroyed the Abbasid Empire.

Is it that some Muslims were created with the highest IQs and others no IQ at all? The more anyone tries to explain the Sunni faith the more awkwardly and weirder it gets. A faith where there’s no clear distinction between wrong and right. Mr Wrong and Mr Right are both Correct, and everyone must follow them both to attain Salvation. What the heck is that if it’s not a Pure Political Movement!
