He's some man for one man.....perfect measuring for everything...without measuring tape....perfect peg holes and round pegs....without drilling....perfect flat planks for steps.....without any sawing involved just a hatchet and then the steps can hold his weight without a center post to stop them from breaking......and best yet, he did all this in one day, without eating food or drinking water and he didn't even break a sweat and he found the perfect spot, where there was just the right size trees for the posts, the right size trees in size and roundness for the design cuts, and perfect flat stones for the roof, yeah like I said, some man for one man

Очень хорошо получилось, нет слов. А в низу поставьте стол и стулья и сделайте крышу от дождя, чтобы можно было выйти из дома и посидеть и покушать. Место у вас там есть. Очень интересно смотреть. И ещё сделайте дровник чтобы хранились дрова, если будете ложить печку. А лестница хорошая но слабенькая. Перилы делать будете? Не бросайте а рядом ещё стройте.

He did all this in a day...by himself...without a crew or any other tools of modern innovation...with his last bits of water...and his magical bag that holds everything he needs.
Indeed, I would be impressed even if he were using a chainsaw off-camera and sleeping in an RV in between takes for whatever amount of time it took to get this done 😉

I built a try level house...32 x 32 feet square in the hills in Humboldt County, California, U.S.A. My water came from a sweet little spring, and for meat I could choose between coastal black tail deer, feral hogs, and the occasional black bear. Pigeons, and other wild foal would join me as my dinner guests. But now I'm an old man, broken body and no company. The worst thing about being old is remembering when I wasn't. I can see the kerf cut on those logs came from a power cutting tool. Not quite primitive tech but neat looking structure none the less.

Nice circular sawcurfs on the ends of those "hand-cut" logs. Totally done with a silky-style bush saw. I'm convinced.
I like the look of the design, but there's no way this was done the way he illustrated for the video. And there's no way I'd try to build something like that in a bush environment, not without at least a circular saw or chainsaw. Like he did.
Probably in his back yard. Circular saw in the garage.

Wonderful work! You have great skills both in modern design and old school. I enjoy your thought process the only thing for me was all the wood you used and cut them in small spools alot of work and not one nail. The red dirt is great for making bricks but also for a sealant. Thx for sharing.
Most of the small red center white outer edge is Japanese red pine also the others could be Japanese cypress, birch ink any other by site but those. ( grew up on a Christmas tree farm in the Middle of nowhere Pennsylvania and I got to plant ten weird trees I was such a geek hope that helps you look farther)
I really like this style build!! Super sturdy exterior walls man WOW! Would worst case scenario even stop small caliber rounds. Definitely would stop any primitive weapons… this would last a very long time is my guess. A natural sealer even perhaps. Pine tar maybe?

It's annoys me so much how many self acclaimed primitive builders...always fail to char the logs prior to placing in the ground. Even actual primitives knew it was important to do so.
The builds look amazing, no doubt. But the foundations just gonna have issues in the long run

Even if it was a team of people, it shows that ancient civilizations could do this and more. When a group of people are focused on one goal and have a like mindset, humans are capable of many great and wonderful things; they are also capable of horrible and horrific things.

I really like his design, although there isn't much room inside. It must not get cold enough there since he didn't build a fireplace inside his hut. Or else he doesn't plan to use it in the winter. The precision with which he cut the wood is amazing; he really knew what he needed.
No winter here in South East Asia. Only monsoon rainy season and hot dry season
