Why do we see less number of Apache 200 4v in our roads when compared to NS 200. Apache offers a lot more, like dual channel abs, slipper clutch, fully functional display, and Gtt + led headlight in bs6 model. Yet the number's in road are less when compared to NS. Any idea ???
People who buys ns200 (or) 2004v are mostly youngsters. Ns200 provides more power which attracts most because of its price as duke 200 costs more. Those get duke's performance in a way budget friendly bike as ns200. Apache 2004v buyers are those who buys bike for future proof spec.
Also if you ride mostly in highway Ns200 is a better choice.
For street + minimal highway riding rtr is better choice.

you forget the slipper clutch feature in compare of ns200 and also the radial tyres.
otherwise ns200 is also a good perfotmance bike but it looks outdated now. However, nice review on 2004v.

one observation ... did u notice the rev flasher flashing or static while hitting the limiter ???
what about the ride ...feeling u didn't mention how the Bs6 norms have affected the overall performance on this bike. How is the acceleration on this bike compared to the bs4... I think u need to still cover most finer details which goes missing (you missed the chainset quality which TVS has completely updated!)in reviewing in your vids.

TVS always focus on less important things and not about improving the core of this bike.
unimportant: 1.new looks when older one is really good as well, 2. smart connect tech, 3. GTT
important: 1. durable gearbox that does not become clunky, 2. drop in power even when it's not the most powerful bike, 3. cold start issues(maybe not in fi now).

Touring.. i would suggest Dominar 400..
For city and occassional touring i would say Apache 200..
NS200 is nothing but Dominar 200

Its actually competing with Pulsar 220F not NS200 because of similar power figures and gearbox. NS200 is only competing with its own brother Duke 200.

That's what the console says.. it has to be on a track though. I could easily go upto 104kmph and there wasn't any stress on the machine.
TVS tests their bikes on MMRTS(Madras Motor Racing Track) where they can achieve that speed i belive..

This Apache is no where near to NS 200 in terms of performance bro... Some says NS 200 design outdated. But believe me, that outdated design still looks more sexier than this new apaches's updated design.. I have ridden both the bikes.
