  • I forgot to mention stars again... Brick Farth is my favourite as Grotty is a huge upgrade to a snotling and you replace two snotlings on the field.

It would be cool if the gnobs had a skill that allowed you to not roll a bonehead on adjacent ogres - it would make sense why they are no the team and you will not get completely diced on some turns with 4 boneheads

Been playing a ton of ogre lately only on PvE. 2250 TV right now with 5 rerolls. Run 6 ogre and then 5 gnobs plus a couple in the reserves. It's really fun. The gnobs hardly ever get seriously injured. I like taking pro on ogres when I get the chance to reduce the chance of bonehead. Jugg is a nice discount Block. The most pain in the ass teams I run into are high armor value teams that don't get KO or injured by my ogres like Chaos Dwarves and whatnot. Its also awesome to make an ogre ball carrier because it's so hard for people to knock them down because generally they're blocking into you with red dice, also the pro skill is nice for another chance to pick up the ball. Idk how it fairs against real people but it's fun to run against the computer and literally kill the enemy team... A lot.

The problem with Ogre is that they need skills and therefore increase their TV. By the time they become anywhere close to descend their TV is around 1700 TV. And then you have to deal with much better skilled teams equipped with claws, strip ball, tackle etc. etc. which effectively cancels your skills.

Pro-tip: Revise the roster to 2 ogres 6 rerolls and watch the tutoring money roll in.

what the ogres lack is the ability to make TTM better... its not be end all but its a way to get a better win% out of them you need to use the TTM as a way to get a better team

Probably the best team in my opinion. It takes a seasoned veteran who knows the game to really get the best. Rarely lose a game with them. Had teams with 1 Big guy and all Runtz. A good balance is 3-5. But hey I've only been playing since 91 so Im a newbie really 😀
