This is why it's important for bands to play in festivals. Not only will they be exposed to a more diversified fanbase who might not have heard of them initially, they can also easily meet other bands, music labels, organizers, etc... and potentially establish an ecosystem of win-win partnerships and other forms of collaborative ventures.
Love to see this! 🤩 i just got back from the festival and both bands played fantastic shows, Lovebites and Babymetal (and Megadeth) in the same day, unreal! 🤘🔥

You are not alone in your reaction to this picture I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw it on Twitter,both bands were also scheduled for Hellfest just a few days ago and again from Resurrection fest and I kinda understand the sentiment of a collaboration between them but a tour together would be great imo

Did the girls say something bad about Lovebites? I'm so lost. Lovebites seem awesome too although I haven't listened to them too much but I've liked what I heard
@@jhorse6968 It's not LB people. And of course not the BM ladies fault. These people are just gatekeepers and hate everything not "canon" about metal. Which is totally hilarious, because metal always pretended to be disruptive and provocative. They are always using the "not playing the instruments" and "not writing their own music" cards (which is not totally accurate, btw). Anyway, just people living in the past and hating anything different from what they like.
I was wondering who went to whom.....and then I thought that Babymetal with the manager they have MEAN that they went........because Lovebites went to 4 festivals and took 3-4 photos and probably randomly with other bands. ......Babymetal have photos with many bands and all with the fans with their name........I want to be romantic and say that she is from Japan and it was a typical visit but I don't think so........ opportunities to advertise every time..........I'm not saying this in a bad way........they both benefit........
@@rantandchill9503 Im pretty sure Bands like Nemophila, Lovebites and Babymetal know each other well and respect each other since they all are different in their own Way. Even when some of the Fanbases try to make it look like they hate each other...

Networking can be important. I could see a collab between Babymetal and Lovebites. Babybites! We can hope. 🙏 Considering Babymetal loves to do collabs and has a long list they have done, it is possible. Lovebites did do Farming Simulator live with DragonForce a few years back. Another cool picture was from a drummer convention where Haruna and Junna met for the first time. The picture they posted together on social media gave cuteness overload.
Haruna has crossed paths with Babymetal at festivals 3 times, once while she was in Destrose in 2012 and twice with Lovebites (2019 and 2024), the 3rd time was the charm. On X she said "I am so deeply moved to meet you all BABYMETAL 🥹" (deepl translation),

Yes! Both band benefit from this. Though, babymetal has more reach as they have been blowing up lately
if our girls had the half marketing of BabyMetal from the beginning of their career i don't know where they would be now............
