Completely constructive here, I think this video is really promising but a few gripes of mine are audio, audio plays a huge role in any short film like this, so in moments such as the running seen, I can understand keeping the sound of the wind in but it seems like too much, maybe tone it down slightly as to mostly hear the footsteps. Movies like “possum” would be something I would recommend you watch, this video reminds me a lot of that movie, but I also think you did a great job on color schemes to portray emotion, another movie I recommend you watch to get an idea for color schemes is “come and see”. Other than that this incredible work I love this kinda stuff and I would go crazy to see more. Keep up the awesome work🙏🏼
I don’t know if this is rude but I also wanted to ask if you could maybe one day have an art piece (this is art btw you’re an artist and one of my new favorites) about loss and grief and the overcoming of such an event. Your style of film would be perfect for that. But again this is awesome work please keep up the great work
@@XR_GAVIN_REIPRICH No worries, I would say to maybe show why the dude is so hooked to picking up the telephone or giving more info, but other than that, this is perfect!
@MakememesandmoreI can understand this, but also I just like the mystery. Since it’s his point of view it’s a lot more intriguing to piece together why he might be obsessed with it instead of him telling you. But that’s just how I view it.
@@XR_GAVIN_REIPRICH Oh, I didn't mean for you to tell us! Sorry if it came across that way! I meant to say to add more context so, as an audience, we can piece it together. I just feel there weren't enough puzzle pieces
That first shot is unironically one of the coolest and most visually pleasing shots I've seen. Props dude. Keep working hard.
Thank you man, definitely a right place right time kinda shot.
Keep up the good work! :). I always wanted to do a short film, you reminded me of that ;)))
You absolutely should
Bro, just from watching the beginning, I know this is gonna be good, I'll comment when I'm finished too
Thank you
