I'm sure with the setup the vocalist appears to have he can record some rudimentary drums and bass. It just gives these performers the excuse to hide behind the original song.
A lot of factors can play into this. I'm not saying this is the situation, but it is a good example: The bassist and drummer probably live in another country and can't commute to the recording studio, and would rather not collaborate over the internet. This band wants to put out quality content, and it would hurt if their projects were to be done ALL over the internet because it's very difficult to collaborate with an entire band that you can't talk to in an instant. Things are better turned out when done in person. There are other possible situations, but I respect their decisions for not including the rest of the band in their covers. Either way, I think they perform greatly! I love their covers, whether recorded over the original track or not! P.S. This cover was recorded before they had a bassist and drummer ;)
