I kinda wish you would've touched on debunking the myths of sochan being jealous of wemby or intentionally not making passes, maybe shedding some extra light on the point guard experiment, why it produced poor results, and the drastic team improvement that was seen once he moved to his true position at forward. I feel like most people criticize Jeremy because of the PG experiment and the myths surrounding it. Otherwise, I loved the vid keep it up

Not really sure what new thought he’d have to offer now. It’d probably just be the same stuff he said then except now scripted
True Spurs fans don’t need the jealous take debunked, we already know that’s not true. As far as the PG experiment, I took that more as a chance for him to learn bringing the ball up and making quick decisions as well as improving his ball handling not necessarily “can he be a pg” but that’s how I viewed it.
You had me sold a minute into the video. I'll never forget the antagonist role played by guys like Mario Elie, Robert Horry, and even Stephen Jackson. There are some humps you just cant get over without a little sauce to spice things up during a deep playoff run.

@@RichardPrieto-jx2dv I’m mostly joking. Although it’s important to note - he was definitely not an enforcer. The only “enforcer-ish” moment he had was body-checking the piss out of Steve Nash, but that was at the tail end of his career
@@sgrey9181 I see, that makes sense. Thankfully, that sort of thing wasnt needed much during that run. I also include his clutch 3 pt shooting and that brutal dunk in game 5 of the 2005 finals in that package of attitude that he has, though. In any case, CLAN's point stands, that you need someone with a special type of fire on the team if you want to win titles. There's a reason why Horry has titles with multiple teams!
The fans hating on Sochan are casuals who probably never played basketball before. They can't comprehend all the little things Sochan does and how crucial it will be for the future success of this team.

I actually liked Sochan but if that man doesn’t pass Wemby the ball again (which he probably won’t) he has to go.
He's our version of Draymond, but better offensively. He has a higher ceiling than Dray and is much more athletic. He has all the tools to be an all time great defender. Plus, I love his antagonist nature. He does play dirty too. But every team needs a Sochan.
i dont remember exactly what game this happened in but my favourite sochan moment was against the hornets. He scored a basket and as he was running back on defence he kinda tickled the guy he was guarding from behind making him jump. The same play he blocked his shot xd.

I love this kid he's a well rounded player that does a lot of good things. Could be like a Ron Artest or Dennis Rodman or Draymon Green with a handle and passing ability. All though his defense has to improve and be tested he could be that guy. Time will tell.
The Sochan point guard experiment was not an experiment but training to bring the ball up in full court press defense that occurs in the playoffs; there was no way to train for point forward except within a game situation
I gotta agree @ the beginning of the season I hated Sochan but towards the end of the season when Wemby got hurt I saw Sochan starting to step up as a player & I noticed he wasn’t bad & if you really look @ the good side him & Wemby are one hell of a duo!
Him playing PG showed him the full range of difficulty to the game. He went into the league Being able to guard 1-5
Hey Clan - you're doing a great job with the focused content. This was my favorite one so far.
There's so much about Sochan's role on the team that a lot of people seem to minimize and they just end up focusing on *offensive* stats or the PG experiment. Sochan is the kind of player we need to build the kind of absolute lockdown defense we used to have in the early 2000's.
The fact that sochan can guard those players and positions is wild go spurs

Love what you did with the analogies, I think they do a good job at describing a players facets outside of just stats or overlooked eyesight which are ways you cant properly show how good and how bright of a future a player like Jeremy has. Im a strong believer of his game and how he will help this upcoming Spurs dynasty and I hope the Spurs dont make dumb moves and stick with him on the long run so he can shut the doubters up.
As constructive criticism, the reverb might be a little too loud or too long, I would look into that as it can be uncomfortable in some moments. Im not saying to get it out, but maybe modify it a little bit.

You NEED the "I don't need to score, I want to do the little things" player. You NEED the "I don't GAF" dude.
The epitome of that dude for the Spurs was Manu. You need someone to take a charge to win a game? Manu.
You need a block to win a game? Manu. You need someone to dive for the ball? Manu. Sochan is that type of player.
Everyone hated Dennis Rodman and Draymond...but EVERYONE wishes he was on their team.

I certainly wouldn't be looking to move off of him, but I wouldn't cling too hard to him either. Although, after Wemby, I think he might be the person that benefits form CHris Paul's mentorship

Being antagonistic is part of being completive. How do we as fans expect players to ball out when players are friends with half of the other team? Being a pest without being dirty is so fun. Kevin Garnet always ran his mouth and played well I liked watching games against it because he made it fun even when he was going off on us.

Hey loves the videos clan! ~ this might not be the feedback you want, but in terms of scripted content which was very well written I'll add, your cadence at points sounded as if you were reading the script out loud for the first or second time. This is only meant to be constructive but I'd do shorter takes for each time you speak and once you splice everything together it will sound a lot more natural.

No doubt he is a piece in the next spurs dynasty! The west is so stacked, Wemby isn’t *yet* the best player. Vassel isn’t the best guard in the west. Stephon Castle is super exciting, but not an elite point guard yet. We know this core is going to be good, they just aren’t Boston good yet. Would love to know what you think it takes to make this humble hungry and talented core group of 5 into the top 3 teams in the west!

For the defensive matchup stats, you should include the total amount of shots he defended against, cause these percentages don't mean much in a vacuum

I’ve NOTHING against him or the trolliness at all. I love his attitude frankly. As the self proclaimed first person to ever hate on him I have to say it’s because of looking right at victor and ignore him as he’d call for the ball. That’s what I hated on when I first started to call him out on it. And I’ve been a spurs fan for over 25 years.

Sochan is still a bit of an enigma to me. I like him a lot, but I still can't tell if he is going to blossom into a star or not.
If you consider a future Draymond Green to be a "star", then keep Sochan. Watch him in the Olympics.
