Candlekeep Cake Doesn't Have to Be a Mystery (here's the recipe!)

- Time for another Tasty Tavern! This one is a request of the Patrons, specifically Bear_Hardy! Happy I get to make tasty goodies for all of you!
Here's that Cream Cheese Frosting recipe, as promised:
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened and cut into pieces
8 oz cream cheese, softened and cut into pieces
4 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
Whip the butter and cream cheese until super fluffy. Add vanilla and salt. Add powered sugar one cup at a time then whip for 3 mins on high.

Just a tip, to stop the tip (unless that's what you want), make a leveling cut to take off the domed top of the layers. It will help for level structure as you add layers, and they'll be less prone to sliding off of the previous layers. But don't make the cake too good-looking, otherwise no one will want to cut into it. Have had that happen, and when it does grabbed a knife and make the First Slice

A small snack container of apple sauce is a great add in, too. I put it in cornbread for a super spongy sweet cornbread. :-)

Time and effort spent mastering the culinary arts has paid off. You gain the following benefits:
Increase your Constitution or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
You gain proficiency with cook’s utensils if you don’t already have it.
As part of a short rest, you can cook special food, provided you have ingredients and cook's utensils on hand. You can prepare enough of this food for a number of creatures equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus. At the end of the short rest, any creature who eats the food and spends one or more Hit Dice to regain hit points regains an extra 1d8 hit points.
With one hour of work or when you finish a long rest, you can cook a number of treats equal to your proficiency bonus. These special treats last 8 hours after being made. A creature can use a bonus action to eat one of those treats to gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.
If you ever have a character sheet made of yourself, this is a must have feat.

I thought Wizard Willy Wonka before I finished reading your thought on this. Oompa Lumpas have some natural bardic skills, much like Dwarves 7, but they seem to have been a one hit wonder.
