I'll keep saying this.... The Garcia walkoff was fantastic, but this is what kept the Rangers in game 1. They hadn't scored since the 3rd inning... Bats relatively quiet... Down to their last 2 outs... BAM! Seager hits a career defining bomb! I believe it set the momentum for the rest of the series and changed the destiny of this team... Who knows how the series would have gone if they lost game 1.
@@WhereIsHeist Absolutely agree. The Rangers were road warriors. We all know this. Yes, in hindsight they went undefeated on the road. But at the time, if you lose Game 1, and then lose Game 2 by 8 runs and go to Arizona for 3 games down 0-2, having been outscored 14-4 with Eovaldi not pitching again until Game 5, things look really dicey. You don't see it that often where one hit changes the entire destiny of a franchise, but it happens sometimes
Bochys reaction is classicly Bochy; not overly excited, just a sly smile of satisfaction. You know inside he must be jumping for joy. What a great leader!
@brettsinger9565 He's very level headed; "steady as she goes." He was the same when he managed the Giants. He must be doing something right...he lead them to 3 world series!
These are the moments sports fans live for. Bottom of the 9th home run to tie or win a game. Crowd goes nuts as soon as he makes contact. What a feeling that must be!! Just magical!!
As a Ranger fan my whole life...the heartbreak of 2011 still on our minds...this was the greatest way we could win a World Series. Going 11-0 on the road, having to beat the Astros, getting gut punched by them and coming back to life, Seager with this game tying homer which I said at the time to my friends "That is a World Series winning moment", Evan Carter breaking records as a 21 year old rookie, Adolis and the drama and getting to be the villain and get away with it...and finally winning it all!! They could never win another one and I'd be okay because this one was AMAZING!
Fun fact - Game 1 was 12 years to the day that David freese hit that home run. And on that anniversary Seager hit this bomb. And Adolis broke the record David freese set in 2011 with his own home run
That was a beast of a home run. You knew it was gone from the very instant he hit it. Corey Seager is the man. And Joe Davis totally called it! Great moment.
I just can't BELIEVE I was there for the most important AB in Rangers history...it gives me chills every time I watch this. It set the tone for the World Series
This reminds me of Corey Seager, 2020 NLCS and World Series MVP. He hit five home runs and had 11 RBIs against the Braves in the seven-game NLCS. When he signed that huge contract with the Rangers, I thought it was a desperate overpay. Now, I'm not so sure! This man is as talented as it guys, and clutch to boot!
I think the thing I can appreciate the most of this moment is how fast he celebrated. He very quickly let all emotions out with a quick scream, then very humbly rounded the bases knowing that the job ain't quite finished yet. That's exactly why he's my favorite player
What an amazing moment! Joe Davis’ excitement really drives home the home run feeling. I’m so glad Joe Buck is no longer commenting baseball because he’s so boring to listen to!
As a rangers fan since I forever, I remember watching the dodgers vs astros world series and this dude was my favorite batter. Can’t believe they let him go.
Wow bochy stonecold reaction after his captain ties it in the 9th!!!That’s exactly the type of coach I would wanna play for, friendly reminder the jobs not done… what a game
Can you imagine how it must have felt to absolutely crush that ball, to see it soar into the stands, to feel the roar of the stadium in your chest as you make thousands of people yell in unison? What a moment.
I told my dad when Seager came up. "I think he's gonna hit a HR. He's a prior WS MVP. I wouldn't wanna be Paul Sewald right now.." Then it happened and I just looked at my dad and smiled. And then we both proceeded to go crazy...
As a Dodgers fan Corey Seager knows what it’s about hitting home runs in this ball park. I am not surprised at all. But this home run to tie it & having Garcia sets up the game winning walk off HR that’s unbelievable.
Boche’s stare at the Diamondbacks dugout was AWESOME… He was like, HOW DO DID YOU LIKE THAT! Him watching their reaction will be used for motivation when needed in the rest of the series. BASEBALL GREATNESS
My Dad got last minute tickets from a friend for right field, about 15 rows up. That ball sailed right over our heads. I'll never forget that image of his homerun right above me and the electricity in that stadium
This home run was bigger for the rangers than the walk off bomb.. you talk about putting some serious juice into these fans and players.. that was an epic moment that will go down in Rangers history
i went out to the bar to watch this with a friend. i knew it was gonna be a special one. i watched most of the games this year at home with my parents. After seeing the contact of the sweat spot i knew it was gonna be our series 😆 🤣 I was doordashing working picking up an order from a restaurant when we won the last game and i was watching on my phone 😆 🤣
Most important hit in Rangers history
As a Rangers fan of 35 years, I 100% agree. That hit changed the franchise.
I'll keep saying this.... The Garcia walkoff was fantastic, but this is what kept the Rangers in game 1.

Yup, that homer doesn't happen, a lot of subsequent things don't happen either, like the WS🏆! You nailed it, dude🤘.
the 325 million dollar swing
Corey Seager just doing Corey Seager things. Love that man
😂good looking too
Bochys reaction is classicly Bochy; not overly excited, just a sly smile of satisfaction. You know inside he must be jumping for joy. What a great leader!
I was about to say the same!!! His expressions are so hilarious
Bochy is impossibly stoic. Which makes his rare confrontations with umpires even more authoritative.
@brettsinger9565 He's very level headed; "steady as she goes." He was the same when he managed the Giants. He must be doing something right...he lead them to 3 world series!
Boch knew!
One of the must clutch hitters of the last 20 seasons
can’t stop from replaying this over and over again, even though the season is over :(
Just did this again myself lol
the view from behind the mound with only croud noise plays in my head every day, you can hear him scream before the croud does
As a Giants fan he was once our enemy, now he’s on his way to make history. May you and Adolis Finally bring glory to Texas.
This is why baseball is the best sport. Nothing is more electrifying then hits like this that can make a crowd erupt or silence a stadium
These are the moments sports fans live for. Bottom of the 9th home run to tie or win a game. Crowd goes nuts as soon as he makes contact. What a feeling that must be!! Just magical!!
He was one of my favorite dodgers. Now I'm rooting for the rangers.
Same.
The Mighty Morphin Texas Rangers, that is!
Same
Bandwagon
Facts!! Hope he gets a ring!!
As a Mariners fan, I’ve always been a fan of the Seager brothers. Very happy to see what Corey’s doing in this postseason!
against our best old closer lol
I love Corey. I hated his older brother more than just about anything else.
Class acts! Both
@@jkdubya85 why?
I hate that it was against Sewald, but 1000%.

Bro you sound just like me saying the same stuff to my family lol!!!
Fun fact - Game 1 was 12 years to the day that David freese hit that home run. And on that anniversary Seager hit this bomb. And Adolis broke the record David freese set in 2011 with his own home run
The fact Seags knew it right when it left his bat is what made it even more special
That was a beast of a home run. You knew it was gone from the very instant he hit it. Corey Seager is the man. And Joe Davis totally called it! Great moment.
Seager lives for the big moments
I just can't BELIEVE I was there for the most important AB in Rangers history...it gives me chills every time I watch this. It set the tone for the World Series
One of the rare occasions that Seager has shown emotion
I was screaming so loud when Corey Hit that Home Run!!
Are u at the game?
@@JoshTheDragon_27 no
We were watching at Boomerjacks. Place went f’ing nuts when he hit it. So awesome!!
As soon as you heard that crack of the bat you knew it was gone

"HIGH DRIVE, IT'S TIED" will forever live in my head
This reminds me of Corey Seager, 2020 NLCS and World Series MVP. He hit five home runs and had 11 RBIs against the Braves in the seven-game NLCS. When he signed that huge contract with the Rangers, I thought it was a desperate overpay. Now, I'm not so sure! This man is as talented as it guys, and clutch to boot!
Probably the turning point of the series!! What a bomb!!
I can’t stop watching Seagers reaction along with the fans behind the backstop! EPIC
I’ve probably watched this 200 times and I can’t believe this actually happened it’s beautiful.
Most underrated superstar in the game today. Dude has been a beast his entire life
I love how the announcers just let the moment soak in. This gave me chills watching it live!!
This lives rent free in my head
Man I love Bochy with just the faintest hint of a smirk. Dude is a stone
He crushed that. That had to feel amazing. What a game and series. Got to love baseball. The crowd went wild!! Was fun to watch. Great video
He does the normal HR trot but he’s so amped you can tell he wants to sprint around those bases. What a feeling that must have been.
Best sports moment of my entire life
That was a monster shot.
Some years he was amazing, and some years he sounded like my grandpa was calling the game. It was kinda weird
@@SpinachSushiRollNo it is true. Buck is so boring with his calls!
@@benbrown4347I agree, he has some amazing calls too, and then some awful ones. Dude just shows up when he wants to lol
I always imitate joe davis calls
That was the pitch that changed the world series!!
As a rangers fan since I forever, I remember watching the dodgers vs astros world series and this dude was my favorite batter. Can’t believe they let him go.
😫
Wow bochy stonecold reaction after his captain ties it in the 9th!!!That’s exactly the type of coach I would wanna play for, friendly reminder the jobs not done… what a game
Someone really needs to calm Bruce Bochy down at the 0:26 mark, he's gonna have a heart attack with all that emotion!
Damn he Crushed this!! Remember he already has 1 WS MVP 🏆
1988 Kirk Gibson and Vin Scully vibes, man.
Can you imagine how it must have felt to absolutely crush that ball, to see it soar into the stands, to feel the roar of the stadium in your chest as you make thousands of people yell in unison? What a moment.
One of the best home runs in World Series history. And this is coming from a Houston fan.
I would love to see this go 7 games. Both these teams have so much heart. It's been a joy to watch
As a rangers fan I dont :(
The 2023 WBC and MLB season were incredible. I come back to this video a few times a month. Coming from a Yankee fan.
I told my dad when Seager came up. "I think he's gonna hit a HR. He's a prior WS MVP. I wouldn't wanna be Paul Sewald right now.." Then it happened and I just looked at my dad and smiled. And then we both proceeded to go crazy...
What a call by the announcer as well here.. let’s the fans do the talking, love it
Legendary moment, legendary call.
My boys! Davis on the call, and Seager with the game tying home run in the 9th😎⚾️nothing like October baseball
Still coming back to this. Man that pop from the crowd is _crazy._
Don't mind me, I'm just coming back to watch this for the 1,000th time.
Almost opening day and I still get goosebumps everytime I watch it
I’m an Aussie and not even into baseball but this freaking awesome!!!!!
Forgot Alvarez, letting Seager go was the Dodgers biggest mistake they have done.
😆😆😆
they just love to let superstar go shine on other team lmao
113mph exit velocity. Seager knew it was out right when it connected
“Could tie it with one swing”
*not even a tenth of a second later*
⚾️💥BOOM💥⚾️
Nope still hasn't gotten old
My favorite call: “One swing he can tie it (immediately) A drive! It’s tied!”
As a Dodgers fan Corey Seager knows what it’s about hitting home runs in this ball park. I am not surprised at all. But this home run to tie it & having Garcia sets up the game winning walk off HR that’s unbelievable.
As a rangers fan born in 1996, besides winning the WS, this will be my favorite rangers moment of all time.
3 weeks later and it still doesn’t feel real
Probably one of the most clutch HR I’ve ever seen! Bochy’s facial expression is legendary, that’s why he is a sure Hall of Famer!
What a bomb and that fan with a sick grab !!! Garcia with a blast 2 these guys are something else
Best game I’ve been to and I’m glad I got to share it with my pops
Been watching since the early 80’s, this at bat is up there with my children being born
THAT BALL IS HISTORY!
He had the same reaction when he hit a HR in the 2020 WS. Love Corey Seager. Hope he gets another ring. Miss him in LA.
Yup. 😢
Boche’s stare at the Diamondbacks dugout was AWESOME… He was like, HOW DO DID YOU LIKE THAT!
Him watching their reaction will be used for motivation when needed in the rest of the series.
BASEBALL GREATNESS
Lmao what are you even talking about? Bochy are Lovullo are good friends
Damn those fans are great. Insanely loud
Being a lifelong Dodgers fan, I truly believe letting Corey go was their biggest mistake ever.
My Dad got last minute tickets from a friend for right field, about 15 rows up. That ball sailed right over our heads. I'll never forget that image of his homerun right above me and the electricity in that stadium
The World Series is magical. 2002 and the 2014 World Series remain my all time favorites. This series had the potential to be one of the ages
His reaction reminds me of the one he hit off verlander in 2017 absolute chills
Gives me chills everytime
The ghost of David Freese was buried in that moment.
I appreciate my fellow Rangers fans
From a Phillies fan... UNBELIEVABLE!!! 🔥🔥🔥💯
Gives me chills every time I watch it.
Man the south has owned the playoffs 3 years in a row. Georgia and now Texas twice in a row. Great time to be a southern baseball fan!
Used to be just college football, now taking over baseball lol
Long time Dodger fan here was sad to see him leave but glad his still finding success much love best of luck!
I watched this 20 times, each time checking out each fan's reaction that was behind home plate! Woo!
Seager and Adolis are RAKING
One of the sickest home runs of all time. That’s a baseball dream
This home run was bigger for the rangers than the walk off bomb.. you talk about putting some serious juice into these fans and players.. that was an epic moment that will go down in Rangers history
He knew that was coming, straight BOMB 💣
If you were there, you knew. You didn’t know about the Adolis one later, but you knew this was gone. Unreal experience
That ball had a family Corey!!!!
Can't believe the Dodgers let him go...😢
10 year / $325,000,000 contract . Not surprised they let him go. He just might be worth the money!
Let’s go Rangers!! Epic home run!!
You know when Cory shows emotion,
It’s a big deal!
Stud - wish he was still a Dodger but Go Rangers
everytime I come back and watch this home run im filled with so much gratitude that Joe Buck wasnt on the mic
He said it’s tied before it went out the building 🔥
I bet you every Dodger fan is so proud of Seager right now! To see one of their former players be clutch like he was before
This never gets old!
Gotta love Corey Seager !!!! I jumped out of my chair running around the house ehen he hit that ball !!! GO RANGERS !!!
Corey Seager!!!!! Love from LA

Crazy how even keel Bochy is during this moment - what a series changing swing.
Bochy, "That's my boy!"he knows what's up!Power to the Rangers! Yeah Corey!❤❤❤
Hurt me when he left the Dodgers but I’m happy he’s with the ranger.
Bruce Bochy at his best.. calm cool collected.
"Can tie it with one swing." "HIGH DRIVE, ITS TIED!!"
