This is a one owner car with a clean title with no accidents or title issues that has been meticulously maintained by the previous owner since it was purchased brand new back in 2005 it currently has approximately 206k miles on it, and best of all no rust. Something that is extremely rare to find in a car that has spent its entire lifetime up here in the northeastern region of the states. The car itself is in great shape overall. However I am going through the car very thoroughly and restoring/fixing whatever requires attention at this time, just like you are with yours. I need to do a paint correction on my car as well. Please let me know if you have any tips or advice.

Dang I’ve got a Mk2 Crv ‘06 in NightHawk Black and I tried some sort of paint correction for the first time using Meguiers compound and burnt through to the primer on the hood. Bought another hood figuring it might be cheaper than respray then discovered there is a difference between petrol and diesel hoods 😡. But they are a good looking vehicle aren’t they and good job
i have an 02 with 346k on the clock. had to replace the K24 at around 330k do to a blow head gasket. Would love to know where you got the fog lights and what rims those are off of... really makes the CRV looks sick!
Im so jelly, right now im doing the boring part 😭 swapping every part that worn and rust on the undercarriage, as soon as everything is mint i gonna move over to the fun part! Will take year though to restore it to its prime but as soon as its done i will take it to the grave, best car i had even though its hard work to restore!

My local orielly's has paint pens of this color in stock! I'll touch up every spot on the hood and bumper, then skim over the whole thing with meguirs 205 to flatten it out before sealing! I'll give ya an update in the next upload!

If you have Instagram or Facebook I can send you a picture of the wiring diagram! I used an OEM fog light switch off my old car. But this kit comes with its own harness and switch. Honestly it would be easiest just to borrow the 12v signal from your parking lights👍

my paint work is worse than that, similar thing 1 old owner car im now the second, maintenance history brilliant, but he liked cheap car washes and in the uk its much worse
got the dreaded flashing D to fix first, then as the weather warms up in the UK ill then turn my attention to the paint, luckily there isnt any chips in the bonnet/hood but it looks like the car always went to scratch and shine car washes in direct sunlight its horrendous @@kraftingkars

I just picked up the same crv, color and all.
Very thin clear coat, I did 3k-5k wet sand and then a polish. Came out.like glass.

my paint work is worse than that, similar thing 1 old owner car im now the second, maintenance history brilliant, but he liked cheap car washes and in the uk its much worse

got the dreaded flashing D to fix first, then as the weather warms up in the UK ill then turn my attention to the paint, luckily there isnt any chips in the bonnet/hood but it looks like the car always went to scratch and shine car washes in direct sunlight its horrendous @@kraftingkars
