- Today we take my new daily, a 2006 Honda CR-V SE, and completely restore it while adding some classy upgrades. Including fog lights, headlights, bug deflector and more! You don't wanna miss this one! I love these 2nd gen CRV's! We give the Nighthawk Black Pearl a paint correction as well to make it shine like no other!

I used to think those crvs were kinda unattractive but seeing one that looks brand new like that really makes a difference, I actually really like the way it looks now 😂

I just bought one just like this. 450+k showing but had an engine replacement 150k ago, all paperwork and warranty info with the car. Owner kept stellar care and I love this car. He offered it to me on the cheap so I now have my second crv, love these things.

Another nice addition I added to mine were roof rails along with a full LED headlight/fog light conversion. It really makes it feel more up to date and I want to soon add an Apple CarPlay stereo as well

This was just the right length for me and my ADD. You packed a lot in 15 min. I love my manual 4Runner but I rarely off road and deep down I know this is what I am supposed to have lol
I keep that in mind when I edit them, I'm diagnosed with severe adhd

@@fatsheepboy same! And it was 2,400 dollars cheaper! Which gave me some wiggle room for the shipping charge, new headlights, bug deflector, fog lights, trailer hitch, weathertech mats, and all my detailing products! Patience is key🗝️

Im so jelly, right now im doing the boring part 😭 swapping every part that worn and rust on the undercarriage, as soon as everything is mint i gonna move over to the fun part! Will take year though to restore it to its prime but as soon as its done i will take it to the grave, best car i had even though its hard work to restore!

Awesome car! I recently bought a 2005 EX in redondo red with a 5 speed manual. This is a one owner car with a clean title with no accidents or title issues that has been meticulously maintained by the previous owner since it was purchased brand new back in 2005 it currently has approximately 206k miles on it, and best of all no rust. Something that is extremely rare to find in a car that has spent its entire lifetime up here in the northeastern region of the states. The car itself is in great shape overall. However I am going through the car very thoroughly and restoring/fixing whatever requires attention at this time, just like you are with yours. I need to do a paint correction on my car as well. Please let me know if you have any tips or advice.

I just picked up the same crv, color and all.
Very thin clear coat, I did 3k-5k wet sand and then a polish. Came out.like glass.

Teah I think so too, I don't like pinstripes but I don't think it was worth the damage it caused to remove it

I got them on amazon, just search up i-vtec decal and there is a lot of options! I figured silver would look good on my car

Dang I’ve got a Mk2 Crv ‘06 in NightHawk Black and I tried some sort of paint correction for the first time using Meguiers compound and burnt through to the primer on the hood. Bought another hood figuring it might be cheaper than respray then discovered there is a difference between petrol and diesel hoods 😡. But they are a good looking vehicle aren’t they and good job

i have an 02 with 346k on the clock. had to replace the K24 at around 330k do to a blow head gasket. Would love to know where you got the fog lights and what rims those are off of... really makes the CRV looks sick!

If you have Instagram or Facebook I can send you a picture of the wiring diagram! I used an OEM fog light switch off my old car. But this kit comes with its own harness and switch. Honestly it would be easiest just to borrow the 12v signal from your parking lights👍

Wheels are off of an Acura TL, they are 17x8. Tires are 225/65 R17 a perfect fit in my opinion

My local orielly's has paint pens of this color in stock! I'll touch up every spot on the hood and bumper, then skim over the whole thing with meguirs 205 to flatten it out before sealing! I'll give ya an update in the next upload!

Did all the work myself, this cr-v cost me 6750, probably spent around 1000 for wheels, polishing equipment, and accessories

my paint work is worse than that, similar thing 1 old owner car im now the second, maintenance history brilliant, but he liked cheap car washes and in the uk its much worse

got the dreaded flashing D to fix first, then as the weather warms up in the UK ill then turn my attention to the paint, luckily there isnt any chips in the bonnet/hood but it looks like the car always went to scratch and shine car washes in direct sunlight its horrendous @@kraftingkars
