  • The Holy Spirit provides us with a Heavenly language. It is a language that only comes upon us by grace and not works. It cannot be copied or imitated. It is only when the Holy Spirit affects our words can we speak in other tongues.
Let us listen to Apostle David Poonyane explore one of the signs that affirm that we are believers.

I was lost but now I found myself no wander why I was chasing things that are not necessary but righteousness and obedience to the lord matters. Speaking in tongues will come on it's own Accord, first seek the kingdom of God and it's righteousness and the rest shall be added. I was led astray by others that speaking in tongues charge your spirit but also I found from senior prophet TB Joshua videos the only way to charge your spirit is through praying in your heart , take more of me Jesus and give me more of you, and also lord Jesus have mercy on me. Now I learned that you can't speak what you don't know unless you're a citizen of heaven with Angels so that you can speak with tongues unless we are baptized by the holy spirit and led by the holy spirit to speak in tongues. I really wanted God to reveal this issue of speaking in tongues to me but God answered through the man of God. Thank you.

I can't get enough of listening to the Man of God, the accuracy of dividing the word of God is exceptional, and the simplicity in articulating it always leaves me wanting more of Christ.

This man of God reminds me of our prophet TB Joshua, not only in what he says, but also in the way he speaks. But tell me about tongues. One of the Wisemen said that every genuine Christian has a prayer language. What is the difference? Sometimes it comes up when I am praying in my bedroom. There is joy, peace and a gentle, warm presence that makes me feel protected. But not always. Maybe because my mind is busy with the things of the world. Moreover, when tongues come out, I have a habit of stopping them halfway through when a very rational thought comes to me. 'What is this? Is it really from God? And almost every time that thought comes, the tongues stop. A friend of mine says he prays in tongues for 15 minutes every morning after waking up and then goes to work. He says it is his habit. He is a good husband, father and good citizen. But I don't know if the habit of praying in tongues is right in itself. He says that when he prays in the language of the intellect, it takes two minutes, but when he prays in tongues, he can pray longer. But if there is no obvious meaning there, then I question whether two minutes is enough. Our prophet TB Joshua taught us that prayer is 24/7. He said that breaking prayer breaks our relationship with God. For me it is more difficult to keep my heart clean, which is soon filled with the things of the world, than to pray in tongues. Because it comes out naturally when I pray in my bedroom in quietness of mind. In my heart I always want to be more in that presence.

Yes, because people now days they are speaking in tongues as a language, speaking in tongues unless you have someone to enterprent for you. If not don't speak in tongues
