I've been playing for 11 years now and recently started a new account. In a month, I got to a maxed TH9 without spending any money. That's crazy! I'm on TH16 on my main account.
But how many Town halls are they gonna make. I wonder how many years this will last but I like it. I was a TH11, already moved on to TH 12 with this hammer jam
Been playing since 2012 and started my final village in 2015 and currently for the first time fully maxed. I'm just scared that like the dedication and respect to the early day maxed players gets lost through these early updates so that nobody really respects the progress. Since the more time you put into your base the more value it has for yourself and I'm just afraid that this wont be noticeable for every new player like it used to back in the days
back when i used to play this game 7-9 years ago, I had 3 accs and after years of playing them i only ever reached th8 and th9, but never maxed out to th10 (back then highest, and then th11 became highest). now, on a new account ive been playing for less a month, im already 4 builders in at th8. (upgraded only after maxing th7). This game has become a lot easier and i love it. its not the perfect balance but its a good balance.

I really apreciate what clash is doing right now. But 1 thing that has to change is more updates for clancapital and builderbase. They could add builderbase challenges or wars and make that part of the game more exciting. And they maybe could do an tournamant form with the clancapital. With clans batteling it out for better rewards.
I took a break for 7 years. Left at a maxed town hall 10. In 2 months I’m already a th 13. I bought season passes and spent a dollar or two here and there that’s it.
24 december 2022 : th11, come back after long time break. 27 october 2024 reached th16. th11 - 13 completely f2p, start getting a gold pass from newly th14

There is nothing more exciting than having all of the builders idle and nothing to upgrade; this may be boring for someone who spends a lot of money, but it is not for someone like me who plays free to play and enjoys learning attack strategies.
They probably won't make attacking much harder than it is now, so some of the serious clans will take non maxed players for more war wins. This is because having half or more non maxed players in a regular war will make it more likely to match with casual clans that can't do perfect wars.
This true, the fact that you dont have to spend elixir for your troops just to have an army, i literally left coc long time ago when troops levels has only stars instead numbers that we all know today, i literally started playing last week fresh start and guess what, im now in a town hall 8 and builder hall 6 now like i can't imagine to progress further. I would say it is true that its too easy to max out everything, i might max oit everything under 6 months lol
It's absolutely disgraceful how many handouts and tirme/price reductions they've provided new players. I'm a fully maxed out th16 and have upgraded every wall and defense at the max time and price. Been playing since 2015, makes my work feel absolutely useless. Unless you started in 2015 or before... You should never even think of being maxed. Not our fault you want to start playing now, you had years to play the game.
i was a max th12 and rushed to th16 and it is had to catch up. i got into legends league and got my base caught up. Also with the gold pass so did spend money. in legends you lose no loot and also get a nice loot reward as well.
They do time and cost reductions that are calculated to make it possible for starting players to max within ~3 years. New town halls will be added when a player starts the game, but they will still be able to max because of the reductions. Stop falling for clickbait videos
Believe it or not I started September 24 2022 , am at TH 15 ( most of walls lvl 17 , heroes more than 5 lvls upgraded , basic defenses upgraded and some troops) , there is more.... 9 other accounts between TH14 and one maxed TH11 , An almost 10 lvl clan , and capital lvl 8 way to 9 . Idk but i kept played because I love CLASH OF CLANS . Btw I play all my accounts free without any gold pass 😐
COC is still too expensive to progress and takes too long time to make high value troops: raiding every 1.5 hours only: this ends up giving up playing it. Once I spent lots of money, and then gave up on COC for good.

Probably cause lots of people quit with a new th release, me and my friends played the game a lot years ago we were all 9 max f2pthen they added th 10, then 11, then 12 and a builder base, f2p just couldn't catch the phase, i don't know if any kf them still plays
It takes around 4 months to get throught TH 14, 5 months for TH 15, 6 months for Th 16 even for Gold Pass only buyers to complete. Thats is without maxing Lab and Pets, also... So there is nothing fast about this game still. I honestly would never start fresh in CoC today
They know max bases ain't add value in defence, people can get Max TH-16 with TH-15 pretty easily because of hero equipment so maxing out base is feels useless

If someone starting the game right now as a FREE TO PLAY PLAYER they are looking at atleast 3 years worth of grinding to catch up and with a new th coming every year itd take even longer. Defence doesnt really matter. Rush to max your offence and learn good attack strategies. Thats all u need. Everything else can catch up later

COC is still too expensive to progress and takes too long time to make high value troops: raiding every 1.5 hours only: this ends up giving up playing it. Once I spent lots of money, and then gave up on COC for good.
