It's rare for an unsuccessful hunt to be posted and I feel like that gives an inaccurate portrayal of fishing and hunting. Not all hunts and fishing trips involve harvesting an animal. The purpose of this video is to take you along on an average spearfishing trip with a specific target in mind and see why it's one of my favorite things to do. The environment is an amazing experience in itself.

Hey man great videos! I am thinking strongly about Kauai in a few weeks. I am having reservations because they say the beaches are choppy everywhere in the spring a fall verses calm and violent in the winter in summer for north and south respectively. Are they any calm beaches in April/May… if so I’m gonna have to go to touristy Maui 🥺
Can never guarantee a calm visit ever really. But the northshore should be calming down by now, so Hanalei and the surrounding area could very well have nice safe waters when you come. I'd say it's 50\50. Theres always lydgate beach park and salt pond for added saftey. Hope that helps. It may come down to where the better deals are. Kauai has had some seriously crazy car rental prices and I'm not sure if they've come down.
@@amrittrivedi yeah, they've taken covid safety protocols to a pretty heavy level (my guess is because they have such poor healthcare facilities) so they created a perfect price gouging situation. It's nuts
