Big 80's hair I love it! Great haircut! I used to wear my hair just like that , same color as hers too ! And I find myself wanting this Haircut again it is timeless & iconic for sure! Great tutorial also!! ❤💇🏻♀️✂️ PS & an awesome Hairstylist Always has a "Magic comb" !! Love it ❤
I always had my hair layered on the 70's everyone loved it, so yes your the best hair dresser I ever seen that knows exactly what she doing. Those styles are coming back👍
Thank you so much for those amazing compliments! 😊 The 70s layers really do have a way of coming back in style. I'm glad you loved the look back then, and it's great to see these styles making a comeback now too! 👍✨ Please subscribe to my channel. It would mean the world to me❤
She DOES!!! I kept thinking…she reminds me of someone but I couldn’t bring it to mind and that is EXACTLY who she looks like wow sooooo pretty!!!! I LOVE really black hair or really platinum blonde hair… i think those are the best color choices. I always wanted to try dying mine black but was so afraid it wouldn’t look right and it would be super hard to get back to blonde. I guess I’ll never know. 🤣 i dod try a wig before but it looked kinda weird so probably good that i never did it.
Farrahs' hair wasn't as short on top. This is more 80s rock than 70s easy-going look. Farrah was so beautiful in the 70s and 80s but it was more than just her looks. She had great charisma and a very sexy voice. Like she said herself she's most beautiful when she's moving and talking. She radiated charm and sex appeal. There was something magical about her. Such a shame she fell for a narcissists love-bombing. He promised he was going to show his home movies of her, especially with Redmond. I wanted to see that so badly. Guess he was too busy trying to keep the Andy Warhol paintings of her to care about how much the public still loves her. 😢
Wow Marie Osmond for sure! She is gorgeous and she has amazing hair!! WOW! She looks like she was directly plucked right out of the 80s! I know because I was there. And I wish I lived near you to get my hair feathered for real!! ☺️
I wore my hair in the Farah Fawcett hair style all through the 70's and into the 80's. I am so excited to see this feminine style coming back with a new technique and products to style with. I have very heavy hair that needs the notching or lays flat to my head. Thank you so much for this demonstration. I'm saving this video to share with who cuts my hair ❤
Thank you so much that’s awesome. Yes, share it with your hairstylist. Told her to watch it a couple times. I love to be very specific so they can absolutely understand what I’m doing.
I was told by my stylist that I should always start detangling my hair from the bottom tips and going upwards. This would prevent the clumps forming from the tangles that are moved downwards with the comb.🤔🌺🌹
So basically, detangling is like climbing a mountain-start from the bottom and work your way to the top! Just don’t forget to pack some patience! Please subscribe for more hair tips and tricks❤
Beautiful! Technically, this is a 1980s evolution of the 1970s Farrah Fawcett hairstyle (perhaps a type of "shag" haircut (?)). This is an interpretation that came to be called "mall hair (especially when it was permed)," and some women in rock 'n' roll music had this hairstyle.
Absolutely! Great call Penny👌 Her hair color is stunning just as it is. It really stands out on its own! Please subscribe for more hair tips and tricks❤
You did a great job getting so much bulk out of the hair with your technique. I remember watching Charlies Angles back in the day and loved the hairstyles that Farrah had throughout the seasons as well as her life. Somewhere I read she was the most beautiful woman in a room full of beautiful women! I don't care that the model's style isn't exactly like Farrah. People have to realize that she had course textured hair and heavily bleached foils to create her iconic volume! Great work, I respect your abilities and your passion Kim.
"Thank you so much, Eric! 😊 I really appreciate your kind words and respect. Farrah's hair was truly iconic, and you're so right about the texture and the styling process that gave her that incredible volume. It's amazing how those looks still inspire us today! I'm so glad you enjoyed the technique, and it means a lot that you noticed the detail and passion behind the work. 💇♀️✨" Please subscribe to my channel. It would mean the world to me❤
I think if the part was kept down the middle we would see more Farrah. She wanted 80’s and she got it, no doubt. Honestly 80’s isn’t my thing anymore but this was a hit
"Thank you so much! 😊 I’m glad you love the haircut! Feel free to reach out anytime, I’d be happy to help you get the perfect layers! ✂️💇♀️" Here's my salon's info for you to call. We're in New Jersey. I would love to layer your hair. g.co/kgs/jaDKCDg
I heard Farrah hung upside down and in clump cut it straight across at seven inches from the top of her head. This woman doesn’t have the hair volume Farrah had and most women don’t have it either
Farrah had naturally curly hair. That's where the volume comes from. My hair is very similar except for the colour. Farrah was a natural burnette as well. ❤
Great question! Notching is a technique used to create texture and movement in the hair. When you cut in small notches with the tips of the scissors, it removes weight and adds layers, giving your hairstyle a more dynamic look. Can't wait to try this out! Thanks for sharing! Sorry, 😢 hate to be a Debbie downer but that is NOT the Farrah cut. Farrah had a middle part way less fluff and shorter. Basically the flip way about chin level maybe a bit higher but that cut is not it. Jose Eber you gotta watch to perfect this cut. Looks nice but not on target. 🎯. Just saying because I was one of those 70’s girls who studied it until I got it perfect. Lol. Take the length comment back… length is close
