I Am Shocked to Hear in these Comments how So Many Don't Know How To Do These Cuts!?!? Well, this Channel is THE ONE You Will Learn All You Will Need, To Be A Successful Hairstylist !! I SEE that! Once you are Shown How, ..it's like riding a bike, You Are Good! You gotta have a PASSION for Hairstyling, Cutting, Creating, etc... in ANYTHING a person does in Life! I Absolutely Love Doing Hair! It's SO Much FUN!! How many Stylists here, cut their Barbie Dolls and Baby Dolls Hair, as a child? Anyhow, all hair is different in many many ways. It's like painting a painting or sculpting a sculpture. Yes, their is a Basic Technic in every Cut & Style, for it to be EVEN, but.. you gotta FEEL it & Invision It, As You Go Along. Right. If this was just a tutorial the cut was even but I don't consider that long layers. That short cut and style emphasized her round face and dated her. Anytime a client interrupts the process and starts putting their hands in it they're not sold with what's going on. Her face was 😑 it will grow back.... and that jarring head shoving around is so cringe to watch. You can adjust a clients head angle without giving them whiplash. Sheesh... 🫣

Long hair better.

I have fine hair but a lot of it; similar to the client's featured here. The weight makes it difficult to deal with and even if you think you've cut weight out, more shows up as if the hair is saying "you missed me! Ha!" Lol. Every single hairdresser that I've been to says that I have sooo much hair & they inevitably have to take a break during the cut. It seems that this hairdresser understands this hair type. Most importantly, the client is happy and feels good! ❤ Great job!

You would love to get a hold of my hair I'm 5.3 with thick, thick hair and my hair is above my knees it's so heavy that I'm starting to get headaches and the stylist in Oxnard 805 aren't that good about a year ago I went to get my hair thin out and layers and the girl missed me up so bad it was sad.

I went to beauty school in 1983 and learned everything taught here. Changed my career path, but I've been cutting my hair with this technique as a base, going shorter or longer over the years, and it's never failed me. Excellent video, and Dawn has fabulous hair!

You keep cutting and cutting and thinning and thinning there is no way I would ever want somebody to do that to my hair I'm not saying that you're not a good hairdresser but you just keep cutting I mean no I don't think I would like that🎉
