I am a type 9. Listening to this it made me think back to when I was in high school I hung in my locker "Be humble, not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less." Still one of my favorite quotes. Also I can relate to you starting your coaching business and saying you wanted to be under your husband and do it together. I was very active in Soccer growing up and now that I have my own kids I've been thinking about coaching soccer but I always say "I want to be an ASSISTANT coach."

Wow! God is so good! I will turn 80 this year and God is still growing me up. I will take a deeper look at my Enneagram info to help process what I learned tonight. I recently read through the book, “Gentle and Lowly” It was a good reminder of the depth of my relationship with Christ.

Wow. I am a type 9 INFJ with a sister that was four years older. So I loved hearing Beth. Knowing myself has really helped me because now I know what is me and what is not. I'm not confused anymore.

Thank you so much for this! my jaw has dropped too many times during this pod cast. I've seen a lot of confirmation of the parts of me that you call the 'wounded child' or living in misalignment, but I haven't heard a lot of information about what it looks like to live aligned and as a beloved child. It seems like something I should already know, being a life long churchie and endeavoring to live in Christ, but the thought has never interwoven with my faith before. As you say, it's exhausting living from the misaligned part of my heart. Knowing that I can be accommodating with boundaries is mind blowing. I'm sure I'll listen to this on repeat!

Wow! Thanx so much for sharing this! So much information to process. I can see myself in everything you shared about the nine. I have wondered what wing I am because I can see the 8 come out in areas where I feel need Justice. And my 1 wing when I’m a parent. I’ll have to listen to this many times! Also so much what you said about being in a thick fog, intuitive & people drawing out what you want to do…so much agree with this. Wow!

Using this as a pattern of prayer. I often shift blame and feel lost and undisciplined when I’m at my worst but this is eye opening. I can release FEAR and OVERWHELM by the power of Jesus. I will forgive, not hide, and move in trust and hope of better relationships because of the conflicts. How wild that we can help people with their conflict but are often cowards with our own! 😳 help us God!

How do 9s help draw out other 9s to become who God has called them to be?

If I start being more opinionated and diligent can I become a different number ? Can we change numbers

We don't change numbers, but we can take on strengths of other types.😊
