Rien à redire si ce n'est que c'est une interprétation parfaite de l'une des plus belles pièces de Bach par l'une des plus belles figures de la guitare classique contemporaine.
Thank you so much for the efforts and excellence. Now I wish to listen to a recording of Arioso which was in the introduction of David Russell - 1st Lute Suite. Of course if that is possible, I am in love with it.
There is a band in the U.S. named Convoy, they incorporate this exact “walking” crescendo in one of their songs called Ladyfinger; the song absolutely rocks. Unfortunately, they keep it under lock and key and it is difficult to find the song on YT. If you fancy a journey into a sport far, FAR away from classical music, look into a Motocross documentary called, The Great Outdoors (the original version 2002) the soundtrack features Convoy’s song, Ladyfinger. Of course, they have at least two (maybe three) guitars, layering the music.
This is the first time I've heard all the counterpoint on one guitar. Superb arrangement and performance. Thank you. Is there a score available I wonder?

Hi. I love Bach, I love classical guitar. David Russel is Just fantastic. I feel God near me, when I hear Bach.
Perfect performance of an extremely difficult arrangement. Basically a four voice texture throughout the entire piece. Each voice is crystal clear.
Can anyone help where can get this music score..
Wonderful, just wonderful. As an organist, I have of course played this myself, and your interpretation was simply divine.

Es ist immer wieder ein absoluter Genuss David zu hören und zu sehen.
Legendary guitarist
Two guitars in one. It's a miracle how David Russel seperates the two voices. Just fantastic!
Impresionante interpretación del Gran Maestro David Russell.
He makes this instrument ascend to heaven
Bellissima esecuzione, grazie
Bravo!
Sublime
El mejor guitarrista de estos tiempos , genio total!
Beautiful. Easter Blessings. Peace
That higher voice against the lower lines, just a great idea in this version for guitar.

Hi Jaxon, Russell's arrangement is published by Doberman Yppan under the title "2 Chorale Preludes" with the classification DO 490. Hope this helps.

I would like to obtain this sheet music with this arrangement...
Where can I find the Tabs of this version?
Where can I buy this sheet music, anyone please!
It arranged by david you can see it in browser for free
I thought it's an easy piece
David wasn't satisfied with the easy version 😅
It can be easy. But it won't sound as good as with the video
Not at all!
Far too much echo in this recording. Still D. Russel is one of my all time favorites
It is not F1 race... let it sound... in music there are notes and pauses...
The pace is perfect. Any slower and it’s a snoozefest
Leo kottke plays it in open G
Lots easier
No less lovely
