I cannot tell you how much better I feel on a higher fat diet!! I also eat so much less food because I'm just not hungry! Talk about sustainability!! If people aren't eating as much food overall, we CAN feed the world with little effort.

Excellent and positive information from this video. The negative come from the end with the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad political situation in this country.

This is great (Dr. Ludwig, 28:42): "I"m not saying that fructose is as good as glucose, I'm saying glucose is as bad as fructose" 😄

So humble for Mark to say that he basically
plagiarizedd the work of Dr Ludwig. 😂
That said, great interview shame Mark was being bashed 😭 on a WFPB TH-cam channel.
Both camps would be better off bashing those that make us ill by the food they MANUFACTURE.
Thank you for uploading and sharing.

What about eating a high amount of protein next to the fat doesn't it raise insulin??

A rant, as my brain comes out of a sugar, seed oil, floor and salt induced fog.
High fructose corn syrup (1984) targets the liver and makes it fat and dysfunctional and then spills over into the pancreas slowing its function, making you Insulin resistant and then diabetic. Sucrose targets the pleasure centers in the brain and is more addictive than cocaine or heroin and this makes you crave more sucrose. So when we combine these two types of sugar into ordinary table sugar in 1984, it acts as an addictive substance which is intended to force you to buy more food and more food laced with hydrogenated seed oils, salt and GMO flour, until you can no longer absorb the nutrient from your healthy foods and this forces you to become sick and die of type II diabetes, heart disease or cancer.
Thirty years later 70% of the population is sick and dying of a sugar induced pandemic. A pandemic created by American capitalism and the 80's induced greed of a corrupt generation which spawned people like the current leader of the free world. We have done a great job, not even speaking of the damage we have done to our childrens environment. There is no conspiracy, it's just a corrupted system of well intentioned God fearing people, all winning at the same time. Keep calm and Keto on.

is it safe to goon high fat diet if I have high cholesterol?

    • @dannyalford1807

As ludwig stated in his "which comes first: overeating or obesity" lecture, some people can have improved CVD risk factors while ludwig himself will have a dramatic increase in LDL cholesterol while eating saturated fats. You must take into account of individual variability. Measure your cholesterol for a baseline and then do your diet(Not telling you what diet to do). Redo your labs in about 6 months and see what happens. I personally try and stick to healthy fats like avocado and coconut oil.
Perhaps watch some videos on jonny bowden cholesterol. Cholesterol is a very poor indicator of CVD. Drug companies want people like you to worry about their cholesterol so that they can get you to buy their statin drugs. These drugs will help some people of course but not all of them. Good luck on your journey!
