No way his SSj should have even been remotely strong enough with his weakened body after the pinging ass whipping he took after he transformed, let alone tank a gut shot; and then send a practically full power Super Nova back at someone after almost losing the struggle. Like homie got fucking dusted way harder than Freiza ever did him. Him, and Earth should have been dusted right here. Though this is an anime where he is the main character, isn't gonna ever happen like that. Lol

Magically goes Super Saiyan because he see's one fuckin bird go down. Not Piccolo, or someone actually important who got rocked. He magically becomes tank master 4000, and stamina ultron. Then he proceeds to nail Cooler, and get his ass put in the Earth via Supernova. On his back, and I'm sure still fucking exhausted. Especially since he was Kiaokening before he went Super Saiyan. Which I if I remember correctly. Ass pulls your stamina rapidly. Like. Nothing about Goku's win makes sense, nor should it have happened in my opinion. Even after transforming, the moment he took the gut shot. Goku shoulda been fucking hurt not just standing there. Lol. And before this goes any further. Goku is great and all, but no fucking way his Super Saiyan while exhausted over powers Cooler. When's not exhausted. Super Good Fight Incoming. Not this being folded left and right. That would be an actual fight of evenly posed people in my opinion, and I still think Cooler comes out on top.

Well, as much as I love Cooler and prefer it over resurrection f and anything super has to offer; he wasn't much of a character no more thought out than raditz, his design (mostly his 5th form) is his selling point. most of the time his character is just "Muh brother!" and wants revenge even though he said he would have killed frieza himself eventually. It's a shame we didn't get more depth to that than that one line but instead we got more of coolers henchman than his football body starfish headed like form.

Can I just say, I yearn for the day we see cooler retconned in ALL his former glory. He is my absolute favorite dbz character I remember feeling such nostalgia for the frieza saga when Goku was out of the picture for a bit and Super Saiyans became a little less special with androids and cell. The first cooler movie was just amazing cinematography/choreography-especially with the Japanese soundtrack perfectly timed and tuned to the fights. And his fifth form with the predator mask made me fall in love. Cooler encapsulated the tame wrath and arrogance of Frieza but constantly demonstrated & compared his superior might to his brother’s by brutally exerting his strength in battle while running pretentious yet intimidating monologues. It’s amazing, how someone could be so envious and spiteful towards someone who casted him aside and forgot him-to become an emperor-yet really prove to be so much...cooler. I really hope they make him a fleshed out character that tries to rival frieza, the Z-fighters, and perhaps tries to become some type of multiversal god. I want them to reference his fifth form, meta cooler, and the gete star. I was a little less of a fan of meta cooler because he seemed less wrathful and primal, but more cunning/calculating, yet also too arrogant as well. Now a meta/chrome cooler fifth form...that’d be something.
Looking back at this movie it really hurts that the majority of this film was mostly cliches of goku and friends camping (taken from movie 3 tree of might), coolers squad getting most of the spotlight (three stooge henchmen we've been getting since movie 1), being fearful of the animals getting hurt, being stealthy and getting senzu beans, all this could have been scrapped in favor of cooler giving us a flashback of his family, how he saw his brother as a peast or brat, why he wanted to kill frieza himself, how their family and race works, how cooler got his 5th form, etc. but no all we get are 2 lines and that's it. Granted i've heard that behind the scenes this and lord slug were pretty rushed movies and it kind of shows with reused poses and the runtime.

This form is simple WHILE being so cool at the same time. While his size is indeed huge, Frieza's is more scrawny and nimble like you could see him being a slippery and smooth. But here, little details such as the added jewls on his legs and arms and spikes on his forearms and back to match his crown of spiks on his head, combined with the mask and red eyes all make up a very TMNT shredder like feel not to mention almost aquatic like a shark. oh yeah and those shoulder pads reminds me of a football player. fitting too since the english dub of cooler kinda sounds like a roided wrestler high on adrenaline especially when he says "I'm getting off this thing and when I do, I'm gonna rip him to PiEcEs!".

I always respected Cooler far more than Frieza. He was more mature and I could respect that he came to kill Goku because in defeating Frieza, he'd disgraced their family and by extension Cooler himself. This takes place in a alternate universe where goku actually killed frieza, not trunks (he ether died from the spirt bomb which mean this movie was goku first transformation or goku did transform, but the angry kamehameha killed frieza. 3. It also non cannon because goku managed to get out of namek just in time.

2. This takes place in a alternate universe where goku actually killed frieza, not trunks (he ether died from the spirt bomb which mean this movie was goku first transformation or goku did transform, but the angry kamehameha killed frieza.
3. It also non cannon because goku managed to get out of namek just in time.
