I have a Target version and 2 15 rd mags. I have found it to be reliable as you stated. My father bought this pistol at an auction, and thought it was a pellet gun.

Congratulations on what I think is a neat/rare pistol.
My last new .22 pistol was a Beretta Neo, when they came out. My Mountain Eagle has been my most reliable semi auto .22.
I am tempted to buy/try newer .22’s that look like other pistols to see if they work well now.

I've had it for about 30 years. It's not my bag. Its 8 inch , neat as a pin.
    .38 sp. .380, .32 acp .32 long . Thats what i dig.

I need a 15 round magazine for my Extractor.
I bought it in Denver at Longs Drugstore about 30 years ago.
The plastic magazine has a broken lip.

They are hard to find. Some run around $100 if you can find them. I wish Magnum Research would make them again and the magazines. I am not that intelligent, but would think a magazine, follower, and base plate could be 3D printed and just need the proper coiled spring.
There has to be a bunch of people with this great pistol that need magazines too.

It was ahead of its time. Not sure if it went away because of Ram Line or patent issues. But it’s a great light weight and reliable.22 from 1990. Used to put it in my Ruck for field problems where we were mostly hanging out in remote areas. Killed the time and about 2 lbs with ammo.

i have one i bought 4years ago...the magazine still holds rounds.... i shoot it all the time no problems with it....i am always on the look out for another one...when i take it to a gun store to see if they can find me another magazine that is compatible they look at like seeing big foot and a ufo at the same time....

It’s good pistol design, with a magazine that did not live up to the hype (polymer was supposed to be like bullet resistant shields, that would not break). I do wish someone would 3D print them, or even bring the pistol back with metal magazines. It’s light, accurate, and reliable.

When did you get it? How did you like it? Is yours the 8”? I do like my metal frame .22’s best, but the Mountain Eagle was a neat product when it came out, other than the Ram Line magazines not being as durable as claimed.

@@scottsmith904 sounds like a great guy! I was born in Maine (moved to California), raised in Hawaii, graduated HS in Massachusetts, and joined the Military at 17 years old. Stationed in California and Texas for the most part (but went to a lot of states, never Kansas though), and deployed overseas a bit. In the mid 90’s Texas became my home state, and when I got into firearms. My life since 17 has been firearms, from the Infantry, to a police officer, and now a contractor who does Foreign Military Sales/training with European and US forces. I joke my best investment has been firearms, as they hold their value for the most, and are part of my monthly budget 🤣

@@scottsmith904 those Auto Mags were awesome. Had some friends that had a bunch of ATM pistols from the Hardballer .45 to the .380/9mm Back Up. I never bought one. Years back I sold off my odd calibers from .30-06 to 30-30, and went with popular military calibers (including.380). I have never bought/owned a .40 cal.

@@Drgunzo616wow, I never had issues like that. The magazines were a failure, more so when Ram Line bragged about how tuff they were supposed to be. I liked that instead of 10 rounds you got 15 back when most .22’s were 6-10 rounds only. Sorry to hear yours had such issues. I would have gotten rid of it too.
