    I talked with Brad between set with Beatlejuice at the Plantation Club in Worcester MA. 1997. He gave me a guitar pick which I still have. What a nice, down to earth guy he was! He was more than willing to talk with fans.

    He was just a guy when you met him. When I introduced friends to him they had no idea he was headlining the show until he got on stage. So many times I heard in my ear, "That was Brad .. BRAD? LOL !! So much talent and love of music. The world is better place because Brad was with us.

    Carol Brad delp was my really good friend we first opened up for Boston at The Palace theater in we were good friends from that time on I used to go to Boston for 5 times a year to see my brother and also to see Brad play nobody does The Beatles as good as Beetlejuice he could imitate all for their voices when I would walk into any room that he was playing it would say Liverpool's here he was the greatest guy ever and he committed suicide circumstances that I'll tell you if I ever get a chance to see you is that a day that goes by that I don't think about him it was probably one of the nicest men I've ever met in my life

    Only Brad Delp could give every songs vocals the right inflection and sound so that it sounds like Macca or John depending on the song. And he could sing harmonies well, too.
    Being a lifelong Beatles fan, this side project is like a gift from one Beatle fan to another.
    Thank you Brad and whoever recorded and posted this wonderful gem of a show. One great Hit after another!
    RIP Delp

      Yeah, very impressive lead vocals that could sound either like John or Paul.

    I've always admired Brad in Boston but this side project really shows how versatile of a singer he really was very talented it's so sad how his life ended I guess it's hard to recognize a tortured soul mad respect RIP.

    Great first set! I'm thinking I may've been there. So many great songs, many of which they don't do anymore, or haven't done in many years! Awesome memories of this unbelievable lineup of outstanding musicians!!! RIP Brad Delp. A true talent and a friend to us all.

      Brad Delp is the best voice of rock and roll. But I loves me lots of ELO! I'm sure it's a typo... Lynne.

      Cindy Howell, I said the same thing as you about wishing I knew about them before, they were around since 95 or 96 and the first time I ever heard about them was 2004 2005 then as luck has it one day I was walking through city Hall plaza in Boston and they were setting up the stage there so I asked the a worker who they were setting up for and he said a Beatle cover band and I said oh, is it Beatle juice? He said yeah that's it and I said that's not just a Beatle cover band that's Brad Delps Beatle cover band and I'll be coming back to see them, thank God cause it was only about 8 months after that show that he was gone and I like you feel that without a doubt he was the best singer I've ever seen, if I knew about them before I would have gone to a lot of their shows, you should have heard how good his voice was live, gave me then and now goosebumps.

      I'm from Lynn and they were playing all over the north shore and NH since 96 and I didn't even hear about them till around 2004 and I got to see them in 06 just about 9 months before he was gone, I consider myself extremely lucky that I got to see them because I didn't even know they were playing that night, I just happened to be walking through city hall plaza in Boston and they were setting up the stage so I walked up and asked who they were setting up for and the guy said some Beatles cover band and I asked is it Beatle Juice and the guy said yeah thats it and I said that's not just a Beatles cover band that's Brad Delp the singer from the band Boston cover band so it was very lucky that I asked. I called them the north shores best kept secret

      A club called Classics in Massachusetts

    • @bobsquires4521
      @bobsquires4521 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya, It was called Classic's in Peabody MA, it became a Carrabba's Italian Grille after Classic's Club ceased, and attached to a function room which separated it from the Holiday Inn that is still there (I believe,) at the junction of route 1 and 128 (95.) It fit about a thousand folks and was always packed with a large number of people waiting outside to get in.

      @@jackasswabbit1625 Yes, they hired me (Phillips Exeter Academy) in '79 to teach classical guitar, but the word got out quickly among my students that I was a 'closet rock n roller,' so the enrollment started doubling, 4 to 7 to 15 to 30 to 64 (the record) - considered that 30 student was full-time. Retiring this year from PEA (2022) I played lead guitar in Beatle Juice from '94 thru 2004 - I left the band in '04 and Bradley left us all three years later so sadly. But what we really need to know; is it Wabbit Hunting Season or Duck Hunting Season? P =]
