I tried that curl activator.I did like it but definitely needed to use with a gel as well,as it didn't define my curls like yours. We do have different curl texture though. Great video.
This is what I used to use. It worked like a dream but gave me terrible acne as I was a teen who didn't use a dryer, I'd put it with wet hair & put it up wet 😅 my hair stank! Now I know what a defuser is I might go back to it. 😂 It's looks beautiful in yours.
I wash my hair with black soap. And I grease my scalp with shea butter the African raw shea butter. Those are my only hair product I don't need anything else I don't need to change up or switch. My hair be soft silky and shiny and everything that I use for my hair I have to use for my body so everything can work together. So there you have it African Raw black soap I wash my hair and body with and I grease my scalp and my body with raw shea butter. Can't go wrong
I have not seen that container in decades ...so they finally brought back the green gel...it's firm but not hard and not greasy.....Sof'n Free Moisturizing gel and Hawaiian Silky Dry Feel Gel are the best gels.

I found the blue magic hemp a lot thicker than dax green. The blue magic made me itch and took forever to get out. Dax green soaked up easier and came out quickly and didn’t leave my hair with that greasy sticky feeling like blue magic hemp

Hi Corey 🙋🏽♀️ My hair is actually low porosity. I do use anything on top of this curl activator because it's so miosturising and after a couple of days the product penetrates my strands even more keeping it moisturised until wash day.
