Drifter is definitely my favourite character and she’s definitely one of the easiest to win with. I prefer to play with scrap cube, tornado slam, and salvage, but I’d say all of her abilities are really powerful.
Btw, both of Drifter's secondary skills absolutely murder Magma Worms.
Man I really hope she comes to risk of rain 2. I love characters that’s about garbage and gambling
My favorite loadout is cube tornado salvage. salvage is so strong by the numbers - by default you can hit it twice in a minute before the first items wear off - 4-8 extra items in the early game will snowball into a very strong late game. Amethyst allows you to hit the skill *10 times* per minute, you can have up to 40 items (32 items is a more realistic count) which basically mirrors your full 5 stage build potentially at a very early level. Just bonkers.

@@titaniumarrow8357 True. You can jump while spewing out items but the lack of horizontal mobility can get you in trouble.
@@jrtomsic thats why i opt for recycle (part skill issue part cause i dont wanna jump satill for 3 sec)
why is there no mention of substandard duplicator it gives you more temporary items and makes the ones you already have last longer?
Substandard is good, great even, I just feel that the other items directly listed more consistently provide a stronger benefit across Drifters whole kit, main or alt. An item not being listed in the wishlist isn't me saying it's bad, just that what I do list I think is better. That and sometimes I just make some very silly mistakes like forgetting to put prophets cape in enforcers video XD
@@whispers8888and (not Drifter-specific), Duplicator can sometimes be strangely detrimental. Had one and I found a x5 temp chest of Arcane Blades directly next to the teleporter. Hit it and had ten stacks of blades as Pilot, started up the teleporter and went ZOOMING. completely out of control, it was ridiculous and I couldn't stop laughing, but I was moving far faster than practical

At 0:42 that's the wrong machine the picture that u showed was a drone combiner idk the exact name but you put 3 drones of the same type there to upgrade them to the next tier its not a drone recycler

ATG's are busted on drifter, every ability has CC and with suffocate you can actually win just going straight to teleporter because of overpowered insta-kill effect
also i think recycle needs less reload time like hey i can use salvage every 30 seconds BUT recycle takes 30 seconds and you cant spam it cause items are not everywhere
If there’s more mod on this game I would really want Madeline color palette on drifter
If you reach providence you basically have a 100% chance of winning since you can just farm and salvage a ton of items in the room and just pick them all up whenever you feel like you ready to fight him
Playing Drifter can be the funniest shit ever just stacking up a bunch of random items and getting to stage 6 without using a chest ever.
The normal secondary and cube i tend to swap in and out i mainly like the cube cause it gets agro off of you incase you need to run away and the fact it murders worms

So a few thing that i feel like were missed or arent the best choice
drifter has 0.6 Regen like acrid and chef which is much lower then the norm (hand has like 2.0)
drifter can re-roll items infinitely
item tear list for this character doesnt feel as good as the previous one so imma right my own here
W: meat nugget, sprouting egg, monster tooth, topaz, bitter root and toxin (plus any generally good whites)
G: leach (works with both secondaries), frost relic and just general melee items (drifter make decent use of anything)
R: Brilliant Behemoth, The Ol' Lopper, Hyper-Threader and any generally good red (drifter has a decent proc and melee build)

also u can jump whilst using special to keep on moving (though at a much slower speed)

ATG is atleast B tier on everyone but specially on most melee champ it wont be A or S tier
@@pisyan322 another thing i forgot is proc build just arent as good in rorr than they are in ror2 so ATG power whilst good isnt anything of note

Why is Drifter called drifter?
I'll tell you why... Step one!!
Soldiers syringes and any other ATTACK speed galore. Minimal movement speed.
STEP TWO!!
Get the fire walkers boot/ magma worm's eye, gasoline, and Dynamite plunger.
Step three.
You get on a scrap cube making car noises the whole time as you DRIFT at high speed across the map leaving a trail of flames and road kill behind you.

DUUUUUUDE I just discovered how absolutely BROKEN is block surfing! If you stack multiple cubes in the same space you can surf on top of them dealing a MASSIVE amount of damage to whatever comes in front of your block bulldozer. Also, if drifter is atop of a cube, she takes no fall damage.

the standard loadout works best for me, cube feels too clunky for me to work around and i enjoy suffocate's execute+knockback more than tornado's aoe and mobility. and since most items work decently well with drifter(tank, healing, damage, attackspeed, aerial control, on kill effects,......), printing 4--12 bonus items is simply insane
I dont think I have anything like load out idea for drifter. I felt she is suprisingly op but maybe it just me.
When I unlocked drifter, it didnt take long for me to get the win like 3 or 4 match later, I lost mostly cuz Im dumb and got distracted lol. But when I unlocked her spin, I just go ham om the enemies, I picked a quite a few of whip and hopoo feathers cuz I think it help greatly as mobility and it move around to hit all enemies easier without getting touch :P
if you are playing monsoon tornado is not that good :( your primary already has 100% stun and you dont really need mobility at all but suffocate has guillotine-like effect which rocks. But tornado + toxin is good
@@pisyan322 oh yeah true, I forget toxin, and yeah suffocate is better option for drifter minus the mobility
I didn't really know that cleanup could actually proc items. I may use it a bit more now
