Best explanation video about Nova Launcher on TH-cam so far.I've seen so many videos about nova and they just show how good the launcher is but never explain in detail like you.I had the launcher once long time ago but I uninstalled it coz I didn't know how to use it.After watching your video,now its time to install the app and enjoy again.This is the first time I watch your video and I am very pleased so without thinking twice I Subscribed and Liked.Thank you so much and sorry for my long comment.. :)

Yahoo aviate was the best. Icons were grouped into tiles for individual subjects and the apps list had an A to Z listing down the side like a phone book. Nova is good but I've never seen anything as intuitive and fast as Yahoo aviate. Unfortunately they discontinued it.
Aviate was amazing. It was very different from Nova but felt very intuitive. I used it for a long time
I switched to Android years ago and I thought it was better then. Come to find out I'm not using a majority of what really makes it better😅 definitely going to play around with this!

I've always seen the occasional comment about people using nova launcher, but I thought it was a custom OS that would require jailbreaking to install or something. I'm so insanely happy I'm wrong because this looks actually magical!

I've always used nova for years and will continue to do so. No other launcher offers the exact same range of customisation, it's the best in my opinion, by a long way too.
No youtuber explains in detail the way you do.

Nova was the best launcher ever until Google iced them out they don't have the animations for 10 so it sucks now thank you Google must have wanted more money I loved you Nova but I love the Android 10 animations bye bye nova

I have been using Nova since it first launched with Ice Cream Sandwich. It's awesome! I use the swipe on icon action to launch popup widgets. It's a great way to use widgets and still have a clean home screen.

Had it for a few years now and I'm just realizing I haven't reached its full potential. I'm going to be giving you so many views as I have to tackle each step. This has been my favorite launcher and I even paid for the upgrade even though I knew I haven't scratched the surface. Its just that good

mobiscrub Had used Nova Launcher for almost 2years, and even bought it, was unhappy when it started lagging even for phone with good chipset. Then tried Microsoft Launcher, was good with Drawers widget, now using action launcher for last 1year, it’s fantastic. Best feature of action launcher, is double click on desktop folder.

Your videos are really awesome. I have the Nova 7 launcher downloaded but haven't used it yet. I've been using the Niagara Launcher on my OnePlus 9 Pro and really love it but the Nova 7 is definitely a real player. This video will definitely help when I decide to switch. Not significantly... You should try and see for yourself. If you think it's eating too much, just remove it
well, it depends on the widgets , the more the use of widgets the higher the drain overall you can expect 3-10% battery drain :)
I've always used nova launcher. But hit play on this and you did an awesome job on explaining all this.

Nova still is the king of features / functionalities and the Launcher I use still the Galaxy S3, but it's starting to look dated (transitions between pages, transparency without blur, animations, etc.).
If only Lawnchair was as good as Nova when it comes to folder management. Overall it feels more modern

I have nova launcher premium, even then i use microsoft launcher as the widget glance menu is great to keep my widgets organized. Nova really needs to add an infinite scrolling widget page, and microsoft needs all gestures like nova for example I can swipe up to open search but cannot swipe from bottom to open all apps
Ever since I can remember, the first thing I do when getting a new phone is download Nova Launcher. This is exactly why I love Android over iOS. Nova prime and Good Lock on a Samsung phone is a killer combination that greatly improves the user experience.

Absolutely correct, but the Microsoft Launcher is now a true competitior to Nova Launcher, it now supports many such customization thing and the best part is windows timeline (which btw is the most killer feature in any launcher so far)😅
Killer! I just ordered a OnePlus 8 Pro as a second phone. It’s my first Android since the HTC One. I dig the customization. Like jailbroken iOS. Great video!
Loving these. I just have a question. I use gesture to turn off my screen but what happens is it disables the iris reader when I turn my screen back on requiring me to always put my pin to get in instead. Anyway to fix this?

Been on android for 2 yrs now and i tried nova launcher once but i felt overwhelmed and deleted it. I watched other nova launcher videos then. 😂 but After watching this video, it looks so easy so im gonna give it another chance. Hopefully it will turn out good
I'd like a follow up video please on how to save, and download the different set ups. So if you're changing phones and want to upload your settings from your old phone to the new one, best way to go about it. Thanks
Just export your backup and then import it on to your new phone. Some settings still may need to be changed because your screen resolution may have changed

this is the most comprehensive nova launcher guide. I have one problem, how to I replace it with the One UI? Right now my nova launcher looks like an app where I can close it, I don't know how to complete make it as the main launcher.
Go into settings and search for default apps. Then look for Home, and tap to select Nova launcher

Thank you. I think static wallpaper is boring, so I've been using CM Launcher with live wallpaper with little to no battery drain. It seems trivial, but it makes my phone feel alive and more functional.

Great video and I want to add one thing I don't seem to customize.
When I longhold on an app;
Let's say it's the Google Drive app.
There will be a "menue" or shortcut to different folders, that I can drop onto the homescreen.
How do I change these folders?
