ABBA ... My mom played this album a million times. My sisters and I knew every word. I STILL DO. It brought tears to my eyes. My sister was killed in a car crash. She 17, I was 16. Every song makes me think of our memories. MUSIC IS SO POWERFUL. It hurts and is beautiful at the same time.
Sweetie, I love your channel, it is my favourite reaction channel, I have found you to be the most genuine and true to who you are. It was thanks to you that I discovered Dimash and fell in love with his music. Never apologise for having an additction to music, it feeds the soul. Ignore the haters, they are just bitter and jealous. You have to listen to Thank you for the Music though.x
I started to really listen to Abba about 2 weeks ago. I knew parts of some songs before, because I think every person at least in Europe does :D But I never really listened to them on purpose. Well, since I did that, I'm not really listening to anything else anymore. They were and still are brilliant!! I mainly listen to metal normally but like I said, Abba is just amazing and I'm very happy I felt like listening to them for some reason.
Done in 1981.Before they disband later...My Fave Group ever...Pitch Perfect Ever...Agnetha and Frida...#WelcomeBackABBA #ILoveABBA #ABBAForevermoreEternity
You're the first person I've found that understands how I feel about ABBA. I love your reactions to them. One of my regrets is never getting a chance to see them perform live.
This song was their last UK No.1 hit - November 1980. They wrote the best ever harmonies......no one else comes close, and they (Benny and Bjorn) absolutely deserve to be up there alongside John Lennon and Paul McCartney. They 'owned' the 70's just as The Beatles 'owned' the 60's.
Thanks to you l have just taken a trip down Memory Lane listening to three cracking ABBA songs. I am 64 now but in my early twenties when these songs were in the charts. My friends and I always leaned towards heavy rock but accepted ABBA as a way of life I suppose. So it has been a revelation for me, thanks to you and really paid more attention to three of the best songs of all time. Like you, I have a very strong passion. for songs which I revere and become an important part of my life...Incidentally I am referring to Take A Chance, Knowing Me and Souper Trouper.
I reckon that's the first time the girls' voices have been described as going together like peanut butter & jelly! But it's nice to see Abba being appreciated by a new generation. It just proves what I've always believed: that true quality is timeless.
If you ever go to Stockholm, visit the ABBA museum. They have a piano that is connected to the one in Benny Anderson's house so whenever he plays something at home the piano in the museum also plays it.
I love all your music videos but Abba I my ultimate favorite and watching your face as you just live in that video at the time &your love of good music you make me feel so happy ⭐⭐⭐⭐💯
There's no rush. Take your time. ABBA are unique and you won't find another band to compare them to. They were geniuses and their music will live forever. There are still so many good songs of theirs to react to. Forget the idiots who spread their negativity. This is your channel and you get to decide who you want to listen and react to. With almost 40,000 subscribers you must be doing something right. Just keep on doing what you do and your channel will continue to grow and all the jealousy and negativity from the legions of trolls that infest the Internet can be deservedly ignored and consigned to the bin where it belongs.
I love watching your reactions to this group 😁 As an 8 yr old Aussie kid in 1976, ABBA's Arrival album was the first record I ever owned. It was ABBA-mania in Australia around that time, we lived for this group! I've seen ABBA credit our obsessive Aussie love for them as pivotal to their world wide success. Those two women were like Goddesses 💕
@@abbagodz I suppose that a pair of husbands and wives wasn't very cool. Americans care to much about something looking cool over everything else. At the end of the day, American pop music took a lot from them without giving them the credit. Madonna is an example of it.
Mate I watched every ABBA song you reacted to. Do you realize you grew a beard during those reactions. You are a good man with a pure heart. Keep smiling. Cheers from Australia
When i was a kid n the late 70's and early 80's, i looked forward to getting an ABBA album each Christmas!! They're still one of my fave all time bands!! I was heart broken when they disbanded. Thank you for sharing your AMAZING reaction and i hope you stay an ABBA fan forever!!!
The camera approaching Frida's face, slowly and calmly, with no heart-attack editions...wow...And the way their voices match is a unique experience in the whole pop music. In every ABBA's song it is perfect. But, I guess that #1 match is the incredibly underrated and almost forgotten 1976 song THE TIGGER. Never, I mean, NEVER, heard 2 female voices matching and sounding so incredibly as in THE TIGGER

You should listen "ABBA - Happy New Year" right after decade has changed. 1st January 2020. That's what I'm going to do. Also did you know that ABBA returned to studio for the first time in 34 years during 2018. They may release brand new music sometime in 2020.
It's a lot of fun to listen to songs with you. You have a big heart and wonderfully empathetic nature. Music is a natural part of your being. Keep them coming.

Man, I love your ABBA reaction videos! But you still have a long way to go! So many more beautiful songs to listen to!!!! Keep going! Eagle, The Day Before You Came, Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie, Lay All Your Love On Me, Voulez-vous, The Name of the Game and so on...

Must be helping James with “loving life” too - have a wonderful day y’all.
Abba are one of the best groups ever. So catchy and nice lyrics and later on they also had a bit more sad songs. I hope someday you gonna react to alot Depeche Mode aswell. They are like Abba but in a more darker way. Catchy, danceable, teenage lust / angst. Great band!
ABBA was the first group to make music videos like it's standard these days, back then people in the business said, it's crazy you should do more concerts.
There is no question in my humble opinion that ABBA is the greatest group ever ! If you don't mind going without lyrics and want to hear the girls use their voices as instruments ,try Arrival ! Shiver inducing ,trust me my friend :)
Super Trouper reminds me of Christmas. The harmonies in the chorus are on a par with the Beach Boys. Unbelievable. Never worry about people who don't like you, bro. Agnetha is a sopran, Frida is a mezzo. You're right James, they complement each other in a wonderful way.
Punchy Angnetha and soft Frida (M.Tretown about their voices).
They could also cover for each other live if one had a cold or sore throat or something.
ABBA is definitely addictive, you are awesome 😎 and take all the time you need .

Abba figured out the secret formula for making incredible songs
That's a big ole smile you had on you at the end. That's what ABBA does to you - it's just so full of joy!

Notice how they didn't need sexy costumes or fancy choreographies back then, the focus was on the music quality.
