Wye Explorer We had a two week holiday there. I did for the first time take a wet suit with me (although that wasn't me) and snorkeled a lot there, didn't see a great deal, big crabs, lots of jelly fish and a few small fish. We did see a few porpoise around that area. Cheers, Steve.
Yes put you have a woodland ! I’m Happy for you to come kayaking with me off Runswick area sometime I can show you the kit and skills needed (I’m a kayak and Canoeing instructor among other things) I have access to other sit on top Kayaks and all the kit you would need. Also know the area well I do the training the life boat crew at Runswick Just need the weather.! Let me know and we can plan a day and if the weather not good we can head inland The camper van is really good just fill it with all kit and off you go mine like a mobile outdoor centre most of the time. I’ve seen most of your vid and really enjoy them 👍 I’m of to north west of Scotland at the end next f the month for a 5night wild camping and open canoeing trip in the inverpolly Estate area you can only walk in or canoe in it’s an amazing place with fresh water lock ! Well done steve, Excellent as always. Whats your thoughts on your new snugpak bag.? Im looking for an ultralite bag for when im out on the hills & solo overnighters. But still not sure on what to get, I always take out my (sabre 45 sf) its an awesome bag but heavy. Great for the woods but not so good on long journeys.Until the next one. THANKS AGAIN ✌🏻
Mr Fraz Out&About I'm not sure about the bag, it's sturdier than most, but not the lightest I've got. I walked 4 miles with it full no problem. I had food, water, gas stove, cup and kettle, sleeping mat and bag, plus a bivvie bag, not much room for anything else. Ideal for a minimal woodland camp. I will have to use it a bit more. I have noticed the build quality isn't as good as it used to be with Snugpak. Steve.
Crafty Veggie its funny you say that about the build quality because i have had the Snugpak rocket pack 70l. And the liner at the top of the pack that you can close with the draw cord has torn at the stich line. This was the reason for me to change to the sabre 45 sf. Other products i have of snugpak though have held up to my outdoor activities.
