It's a wonderful city. As a gay man I grew up just outside Manchester, and spent most of my time there. Loved the theatre, love Canal Street, the museums, the architecture. It has pretty much everything you need. Its vibrant and modern with a sense of history, and it's one of those places where you can just sense a feeling of identify. Plus it has the best gay pride in the country. Such a tolerant place. I live in Oxfordshire now, which is beautiful, and London is amazing, and not far, but to me, Manchester is world class. Plus it has the best Christmas market too. Its huge.

'Chavnel' ...... most people in Manchester are very sociable, very friendly .... we don't go around discriminating and bullying .... you get the odd case, as you do in any big city, but Manchester is a very welcoming city, and generally the thousands of students that come here don't want to leave.

I have lived in Manchester all my life and wouldn't ever want to live anywhere else, and you are right in everything you say ... although things are now a bit costlier, like they are everywhere else, because of the present day cost of living crisis ...... I live in the next street to Rudys pizza place in Ancoats, its 30 seconds walk away from my front door... and Man City's ground is very handy for me here as i am a big fan of the club ..... good vlog girl, good job!

Trust me, you will love it here. People are friendly, it is multicultural, very cosmopolitan, I would class it as a young people's city, because it has so many international students from around the world, who mainly study at the University of Manchester and so Manchester Metropolitan University. Manchester is the most multilingualistic city in Western Europe, which just goes to show just how diverse the place is, plus it dramatically changing at the moment, lots of investment is coming to the city, lots of new apartments are being built, so it is a very exciting time be moving over here!
