I have lived in Manchester for almost a year, unfortunately my experience was awful, the renting price are rising and founding an accommodation it's almost impossible I end up living in a horrible shared house with mice infestation, the transports are also a nightmare if you don't drive ,not enough bus runs moving from an area to another could take hours, the city center is nice but just 1 mile further out everything is rough and dirty.

My partner has been offered a very good job there with his company, currently living in london and promised I wouldn’t live in a city again but the cost of housing etc is making me think twice

My advise is if you can afford to buy a doer upper, do so! Manchester is getting as expensive as London, not worth renting to be honest.

Go to London look how busy it is there. Crime is high in London and it’s everywhere in the UK. Plus he made a video of dark sides of Manchester.
