watching these videos is so inspiring. everyone looks so simple.
i get inside and start thinking "What the hell do i event to make" the next biggest roadblock X_x.
but occasionally i get an inspiration and run with it : )
    fun times.
    thanks gravity sketch.
just like the first time i learned blender, zbrush. photoshop, building computers... programming.. its almost so simple..
gravity sketch is the next generation tool.
the current content may be boring, but thtas about to change.. these tools will be opening huge doors.
easy to say . easy to see. . if you were watching shit worth watching for the last decades: )

i love gravity sketch for like general purpose or prototyping but because there is verry little precision aspects of the software similar to CAD tools like extruding a single face to a defined measurement, making holes with defined diameters, joining objects, the software is nothing more than a fun game to screw around in an make stuff that have very little purposes
now if the Devs of GS implement some basic CAD tools to the software this could become an extremely powerful tool for 3d modeling to the point where engineer's can use it as a way to create and see their creations in VR and AR putting this software in the manufacturing relm

3:10 you seem to say you import a Solidworks model, but when I tested Gravity Sketch it could only import very few basic mesh file formats. How do you properly import a CAD model?

I’m having the same issue. I’m wondering if you do not have to redraw the whole part again

How can you import to Solidworks? And continue modeling. ?

Hi! You can export Iges files which can be read in CAD programs like Solidworks or Alias and Fusion :)

The front of the drill has ridges around it. How would you make that in Gravity Sketch?

*"Once you implement surface snapping I be purchasing you program but not before."*
They implemented that a long time ago, and it's free.

Is there a way to export for Fusion 360?

    • @GravitySketchYouTube

Yes! You can export as an OBJ. With Education or Business licenses you can export FBX and IGES as well
