- Artists can start believing too much in struggle and in what they find difficult. However, what comes most easily to us is usually the expression of our natural genius, where our interest wants to go.

A great reminder to us all. Writing should be fun. Thank you.
Thanks, Terry! Hope things are coming easily for you.
@@BillKenower Anymore, I only write if it's fun. Yeah, there is the muddled middle and things, but overall I continue to enjoy what I do. It's been a long time. We should find the time to meet up for coffee in the near future.
@@TerryPersun-Author I agree!
I can't tell you how much I needed to hear this. The story of understanding this phenomenon is similar to my own experience. There is power in hearing one's own intuition from another's voice. I love easy, and early on thought it must be too good to be true. But you're right, of course. Learning to trust, that is the trick. When there is no hesitation, that is when I fall in love with writing again. So many lessons have to be relearned. Thanks for just saying it!
You're welcome - and I think we all need to hear it!
I am so glad that you came back to personal essay writing, Bill. I have thoroughly relished every one of them that I have read. And, I can most relate to the joy one feels when a piece I write comes to me, easily.
Thank you. But for the record, these are written at all. That's just me talking . . .
Oh I just love this!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks!
This is great advice. Ease is a great place to write from. I recently wrote a personal essay that felt effortless, and wondered if I ought to write more of them.
Why not? See where it will go.
