    I lived with this kind of toxic codependency for almost 10 years. It's very bittersweet.
    We shot dope together, chased drugs together, and got high together. We committed crimes together, went to jail together, and got clean together. We struggled to stay clean together, and relapsed together. The love was very real, very raw, and very tangible. Probably even more so than the love between a straight edge couple because of the amount of pain and sorrow we willfully brought on ourselves and endured through together. The same pain that ultimately tore us apart from each other forever.
    So, it's definitely true love and real love, but it's certainly not healthy or prosperous love. At all. Nothing good and pure can stay alive in a world of constant, repeated evil and deception. And that's what drugs are-- evil and deception.

      Sadly I know exactly what u mean😔It took being pregnant for me to realize I couldn't live that life with him anymore. I tried to wait for him to get his s*** together and put his daughter first like I did but I refused to wait forever and in the process of my pregnancy I got a place of my own, made it into a home and got every thing I could possibly need for my baby in the span of less then 5months and he's STILL doing what he was doing before I got pregnant and that was 9 YEARS ago! I've moved on with my life, and I have a beautiful life now with a man that has given my daughters & I EVERYTHING & more, including my 2nd baby. I feel sorry for my ex bc he's had another baby too and he's still in exactly the same spot I left him and that little girl has nowhere near the life I've built for my babies...but I couldn't wait any longer for him. My baby came first

      I'm not trying to discredit your feelings at all, so please don't take it that way. But if you're going to publicly declare your sympathies for a complete stranger, one would think you'd want to help that complete stranger. I believe her, because I’ve been out on the streets and I know that’s how it goes. I hope you can get indoors, Dawn, with your partner. I needed that to get off problematic substances, too. It wasn’t the best place, I found to stay. It had mold and pests and all that, but it wasn’t the streets. You can’t ask people to function in a healthy way, in the middle of a war zone. They need to help people with more services, after treatment. I hope I can use what time I have left to do that for people who are still out there. I had a job doing that, but I got knocked down by the mold and it’s a domino effect. I know the domino effect is a whole lot greater, outside in the elements and vulnerable. When people say there’s no way someone could lose their ID or their phone so many times, I know they haven’t been homeless in the city. Of course, there are people who tell stories, but I wonder what those who judge think they would do if it happened to them. When people like you tell your stories, it makes people think. Thank you for being a part of the solution, even though you’re still struggling! That’s huge. Thanks to everyone who’s doing what you do to make this education possible! ❤. Hang in there, Dawn. Never give up! This world needs you. I need you, because I still get judged, without people knowing the story. When you speak truth, others don’t feel isolated. ❤.
    P.S. Btw, Dawn, I’m not speaking on your man, by just addressing you, here. I found a homeless cat, who has also been through a lot of trauma, so no matter that he bites, when he gets scared…we understand each other. I had to turn the video off, cause he got scared by the car alarm, so I only heard you speak, so far! I’ll watch the rest when he’s sleeping hard and won’t notice! Idky some folks get mad, when I say I took in a homeless cat. It’s not animals vs. people. We’re all in this together. Any gentle soul I meet is welcome. My cat will tell me who that is, or ain’t. They’re good at that!

    If tranq was being punted in the UK dealers would basically get lynched. The community has little compassion for addicts but still wouldn't put up with that flesh rotting business.

    I'm sorry, but bro needs to come up with some better interview skills. SO many just awkward silence moments, questions like "how do u like living on the streets?" Well, nobody "likes" it?! Like bro. U need to get more interested in these people, their lives, etc...make it more interesting instead of asking Qs that have obvious answers 😂. Just some constructive criticism

    • @TheBestStreetInterviewChannel
      @TheBestStreetInterviewChannel  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Well actually some of them do like living on the streets lol however, this is an update so all typical questions were answered in the first video (check my channel) that being said if you want basic ass interview questions you can go to any of the other channels. I make an effort to not do the basic interview style videos that 50 other people are doing any given day of the week. I be hanging with these people for a little while. You try asking un-exploitative questions at 1am in a dangerous hood 5mins after the interviewees shoot up. Don't wanna ask them the same ass questions they answered 30 times already in past interviews "so what turned you to drugs" lol yeah I'm good.
      Hey either way, if you read this far, thanks for tuning in. Appreciate the quality at least if my lame ass questions don't get you off

    That's not a love story my friend that's a horror story,there's a syringe lying on the ground I wouldn't be sitting down and I'm an addict a functioning addict I've worked all through my addiction but it's still a hard life my body feels beat up at 45 working with chainsaws all my adult life has left me physically in bad shape and addiction hasn't helped,these people are having clothes hot food and all the clean injecting stuff they can possibly carry and the thing that brings them out of an overdose forgot it's name,I'm sorry but that's just enabling them to survive on the streets longer help them get roofs over their heads where they can live like that behind closed doors imagine how the people that have to live in that street work in that street and have businesses in that street feel or lock them all up build rehabs in the desert and ship them all off out of the city's or it's only going to get worse,parts of America are starting to look worse than 3rd world countries it's embarrassing

      @TheBestStreetInterviewChannel CMS employee here - Medicare/Medicaid allow up to 90 days of SA/MH detox and rehab per admission. Federally there are currently no guidelines in place for annual exhaustion for these type of treatments. If you were denied services the facility didn't do their job in authorizations or billing. If you were billed the facility you went to was out of network with CMS and at that point it's 100% on you
