Like how you reset the odometer to 0 km once it became an EV. Now you can see how many kilometers you've driven in it since changed to an EV. The body had under 200'000 on it and it looks really nice.
Amazing build. Extremely clean looking. I would love to do a conversion but the laws in Denmark is very prohibitively unless you have the amount of money that you can buy a good used EV, just for the paper work and approvals. Not realistic for DIY'ers.
Thank you. I know that some cuntries making problems or even is not allowed. By us is allowed and they are making no problems if conversion is orderly whell done and look nice .
6:05 nice air cooled Porsche back there. Really like how you changed from ICE to electric, you made some nice changes to the BMS and other parts, also like the Infotainment you have installed, so many features are in it. 👍💪✌
Really impressive build, great work. A few questions though. Why isn't the rear battery lower in the spare tyre well? With the battery on top I assume the tyre isn't accessible? Also as it's a manual what gears do you usually use? I assume you'd start in 2nd or 3rd?
Thank you . There is not enough space where spare tyre well is. I would need to cut the chasis . This is not allowed by TUV inspection because of loosing strength chassis integrity .
@@bimerevThat's interesting to hea, here in Australia I've seen people cut out the rear tyre well to install things but it usually requires an engineering certificate.
@@RobZillanator yes, by us is also like that. Some certificated welder will need to do this. And give sign. Not me. That means more expence and more paper work.

Beautiful conversion there, I was planning to use a DC motor for my conversion, how many time do you replace the dc motor brushes?
I didn't replace at all. Car has 42000 and they are not wearn at all. Motor has extra 20000 km from previous owner, but on 100v and max 300A .
