This movie's gotten universal acclaim. People are comparing it to Steve Jobs and The Social Network, but it has its own uniqueness to it as well. I'm so, so hyped to see this movie.
Better than Steve Jobs and I'm not going to say better than Social Network but they're at the same level, but BlackBerry is also hilarious. Glen Howerton f***ing killed it. Loved the movie.
I always thought Blackberry didnt know what the hell they were doing in the phone industry after Apple Iphone released. The movie definitely clarifies why Blackberry was so behind. When the US president switches his phone from blackberry to Iphone, you know that is a problem.
I am from Egypt . I have blackberry priv . I love BlackBerry and I hope BlackBerry returns to the phone industry because it has fans from all over the world .

I may have just had a revelation. I was laughing at Matt wearing colour matching tracksuit and headband in almost all of his press for these interviews. I have a sneaking suspicion he is dressed 'in character' for an upcoming project. He did it in his amazing show Nirvanna The Band The Show, where he did interviews for his film, Operation Avalanche in his NTBTS character and used clips from the footage in the show.
Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol are currently shooting nirvanna the band the show the movie, however I believe he's just dressing like this because its how Doug Fregin dresses in BlackBerry!
Matt Johnson actually wears this shirt for this reason. He is bringing awareness to overrated groups, like slayer, who we put on tshirts and don’t think about and just take at face value. Why do we adjourn these logos? Why hold them up? It has a lot of thought out into it, and I’m glad a proud man like him does it

It's RARE i like anything in Canadian Film or TV... I have to admit when I heard it was made Tele-Film & CBC news, i wanted to vomit... So i walked in the cinema last nite on opening day and wanted to hate it... Beginning was very cheesy and the music selection, well don't get me started on that. So as i continued watching , it really picked up when "GLENN HOWERTON" character as Jim Balsillie ( American Actor) entered the Company.. Now that was an amazing Performance 😁👍 And then what really blew my mind was when the character "PURDY" entered the scene, it totally reminded me of "RIP TORN" from MEN IN BLACK.. WOW!!!..... MICHAEL IRONSIDE can pull off a RIP TORN character in a second if they ever decide to make a Men In Black #4 As for Canadian boy BARUCHEL, he played a GEEK / NERD ( Big Bang Theory ) very Well As a Tv series creator, i can defiantly recommend this great Canadian R.I.M. story... Like I said, It;s very RARE i like anything Canadian STEVE JOBS meets BLACKBERRY 👌🤩 Luv my Crack Berries Baby !!!😎🤟
Man I miss my blackberry a lot just like most of us do. When I heard about this movie I thought that it was gonna suck and be trash so I just rented it to see how it would be and man was I ever wrong about this movie. What a freaking great movie this was. The actors did an amazing job. It was well worth the $14.99
the movie is good, but half of RIM problems was buggy software and rushed products, to many models to work at the same time, was a great product at server side and hardware, but the software was glitchy at the first months of the products, also the storm 1 was a mass produced prototype vs the storm 2 was nearly perfect.
I loved the movie and I'd even put it on the same level as Social Network and Jobs, but I had no clue it was due out. We've had little to no marketing on this in the UK at all...Am I missing something? Was it meant to be a straight-to-DVD movie?

I really enjoyed the movie. It was funny and entertaining... and they didn't stray from the truth too harshly.
