You guys are lucky to live in Hong Kong. I'm from NYC and used to go there every year up until 2019. It's my favorite city in the world tied with Bangkok and London.
I realised how lucky we are to live here - couldn' t agree with you more. I ❤ Hong Kong. I returned to Hong Kong a few weeks ago from Tokyo. I have been living there for six years. Every time I am back in Hong Kong. My feeling is - I realise how lucky to be living in Hong Kong. Tokyo is perfect for holiday. There is a Japanese saying : Customer is God. But to live there ......doesn't compare with Hong Kong. Hey...wife and I (fellow Torontonians) just arrived yesterday as tourists ! first time for both of us. Mom's originally from HK. Going to see the neighborhood she grew up in, Hung Hom. Yes, testing a pain in the butt. Good laugh at the airport, Covid staff nolonger wear full body suits (wanted to do selfie), now they wear blazers of the same lovely powder blue color 😒
I heard HK is scraping the quarantine requirement for incoming tourists. But they're still requiring antigen test. We'll gonna visit in June hopefully antigen tests are no longer required by then. Loved your content!

How do I make Hong Kong milk tea in the states ? Did you get sick with actual symptoms or was this just precautions for a positive test? I apologize if you already answered this somewhere, but did a lot of people in China or Hong Kong itself get vaccinated? I ask because I don’t know anyone personally, here in the states, that actually did. I was just curious if what we are told is the same as what you are told there. China has been on my bucket list for the past three years after binge watching another vlog about an ESL teacher there. The country seems amazing to me.

Maybe I'll visit HK after I visit Japan. Visiting China was never on my radar and that's maybe because of how the western world views it but a big part of it is how they have restrictions and the whole social credit system although I don't how how that can impact a short visit
