KD, try selling your kalamansi to corporate consumers such as restos and juice producers.

🫒 What a great 1st harvest, KumanderD!! This video shows an UPBEAT vibe and PROMISING business for your Calamansi farm. 🍸Luv seeing Niehl and Lily with you too.
10:05 Nice to see JERAMI again. Those Portuguese dishes in his resto were mouth-watering. What a CREATIVE guy! And that cocktail drink should have a special name -- with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
Bottomline: We're EXCITED for you and family, KD!! All the best ... 🫡

Congrats for your first Kalamansi harvest❣️ As pinoy living overseas, we all love to search anything KALAMANSI and if you market it well especially ORGANIC LABELLED 100% fruit ingredient glass bottled. EXTRACT EVERYTHING NOTHING GO TO WASTE means extracting the WHOLE FRUIT (peels/seeds included) as a concentrated extract organic kalamansi, YOU'RE IN for more greatness! Broader markets and product lasts longer to consume. Seriously! 🎉

Greetings KD! I would say it's a good start. The Calamansi trees still there for the next harvest not like the fish pond. Maybe start a Bar and Grill specializing in Calamansi drinks and non-alcoholic drinks. Maybe ask Kulas to help you finance it. Keep grinding and vlogging. Eventually you'll get there.

Congrats on selling all of your harvest! The profit may have been small, however, as you know, that's definitely better than no profit, or outright loss. In any event it was a success by any definition. Love the food at your friend Jeremy's restaurant. It looked amazing. I'd love to give it a try sometime. dont you know that calamansi is so expensive in Sta. Rosa Laguna or in Nuvali. Last year when I visited Philippines 1 kalamansi was worth 1 peso.. it was so expensive!!! so kumander Daot, if you can find distributor.. you have a gold mine in kalamansi business. you also have an option when you have an over supply.. pack your kalamansi into sachet... for retail selling in store. Here in US we freeze it. or go into export of calamansi in small sachet. Good luck!!! your a good man.

edit: i hope you read this but the last guy that bought the calamansi is smart. he gets to buy an amazing calamansi and you also promoted his business. honestly i think you could easily sell those calamansi once people realize the power of vlogs and how much audience you have. because your friends business will forever be in the internet = free marketing for him and also as your subscribers/followers on your platform grow more people will see it. plus it would be a good content. i hope in the future they will pay premium/kilo with your calamansi because of the marketing that comes along with it.

Kumander Daot !!!!! Last Sunday 19thJanuary, I bought Calamansi 12pcs for 20 petot, just enough for one use to marinate beef. The price of Calamansi here in Dumaguete is high at the moment due to low supply. For tomato, it is between 180-200 per kilo. I'm sure there is another crop suitable for intercropping with your Calamansi.
If I have my own farm, I would plant marijuana and give it free to the children of politicians, especially corrupt politicians :)

KD kalamansi has a much better taste in marinating meat even fish. We BBQ grilled fish and we then make the sauce with kalamansi garlic ginger little turmeric powder and chillies to your taste Make it like a paste to apply on the fish. Make slice inserts on the fish not on the fish skin, the paste should be inserted in the insertion. Keep a part of the paste add oil to it and apply it to the fish when BBQ using a brush. A part of the paste for the sauce too. The best sauce is to have onion peel tomatoes and a bell pepper cooked to a thick sauce season to taste. It's best with rice.

why is calamansi so popular in philippines?
does lemon and normal lime not grow so well there or what??

Calamansi is used with so much Filipino food. A lot of dipping sauces also contain it, mixed with the soy sauce and vinegar (sawsawan).
Yellow lemons grow in some places, I've not seen lime, but there is a type of kaffir lime (biasong).
Pomelo is also abundant especially in Davao.
I haven't tried Tahitian limes... I'll have to find some!

Have you considered growing tea plants? I heard that the Philippine gov. is encouraging development of tea. I've heard that it could be promising, though perhaps better in the cooler areas in the north. In any case, I like the way your "foodie" interests are combining with your agricultural projects! Good luck with your calamansi crops!

Best people to ask are the FilChi community. They are always into wholesale. Little profit is always prefered than Filipino preference for big profit. Juice? If you would able to market a liter but preferably gallon pure concentrate I would buy if you could ship 5gallons to cavite. 😊😊😊
