3:08 Perhaps JP bros don't see this side of Calli too much, but Calli talks about how much she respects Suisei pretty often. Even after performing with Suisei multiple times (hell, those two have two songs together), Calli is still very careful about how she presents herself when she talks about Suisei and when she goes full fangirl mode, she hopes that Suisei doesn't see it. She admires her a lot and she really doesn't want her to know that lmao.

As Hoshiyomi, CapSule is still one of my favorite songs from Suisei. I hope they make some more, because their vocals pair very well

Suisei saw this one as she had Calli on her radio show and this was one of the topics that came up... so yeah suisei saw this bit but in JP of course. Cat's out of the bag now and Suisei was totally cool with it, though somehow I get the idea that Suisei would probably fangirl over Calli as well (especially if she saw her perform as DDK)
Calli's about as close to Sui-chan as they come, jam-packed schedules aside. 2 songs together and at least 3 live performances together, equally dorky when in the studio, multiple Calli-inspired Suinglish moments, both performing each other's music in karaoke streams, and both made their major debuts around the same time. 2 stars rising alongside each other.

Calli and Suisei's 'Getcha!' is one of my all-time favorite Holo covers, they made that less than a year after Calli debuted, I wonder how Calli survived working on that with her

They are what Vtuber, especially Holomem, aspire to be. Greats singers, great creators, great entertainers, great gamers, both know to be easy to talk to, and hardwork their ass off for their projects. They however, choose totally opposite side of being a Vtuber. Suisei is the seiso traditional idol-like that is very lady like, while Marine... Well, we know :D
Subaru is... an amazing senpai. And she doesn't say things lightly. Honestly, I think that Suisei and other JP members would be flattered if Calli reached out to do, say, a song collab. Calli is reaching borderline celebrity status in the vtuber space, look at what happened on VCR Rust. Tons of well-known streamers and gamers were kind of awestruck to meet her.
It's WILD how far she's come from her debut to NOW.

Calli, Suisei collabs with Iroha relatively often. Even chose her as a center for the Hoshimatic Project. Just get in there.
She's collabed with Calli even more. They've done songs and radio shows together, and have probably collabed more on streams than with Iroha.
Calli's worried about being professional, but with Noel's love of Subaru and Flare's love of Ina, I don't think she has to worry.

I didn't know (but not surprised) Calli hasn't flat out told Suisei that, but I have trouble thinking she doesn't know to some extent by now.
Yeah it has been quite obvious for some time how both of them admire each other. So yeah, I also get the feeling Suisei is likely already aware that Calli is a fan (even if I suppose she might not now that she is her oshi).

Back then, Calli joined Hololive knowing barely a thing about being a vtuber, some might be displeased, but for me, I enjoyed seeing her journey (like how she got to acquire a Holo oshi,) and it was kinda refreshing.
I was so shocked when Calli mentioned Damn Good Day because that's my fave Sui-chan song and it's not one of her mainstream songs. I never doubted it, but this really proves that Calli is a real Hoshiyomi.

Jokes aside, it's rare to see that side of Calli. You can see Calli has a huge respect for her senpais, but I was surprised that Calli's oshi is Suisei, it wasn't that clearly, even though they had many songs and collabs together before. I would love to see more collabs between Calli & Suisei :D
What Calli doesn't know is that all the Hololive girls are fans of each other. So she doesn't have to be embarassed.
I would posit that there is zero gap between "Talks to plushies" and "psychopath", but Sui makes it work.
Also, If you feel that way Calli, perhaps you should try talking to Iroha about it. Suisei is super cool with holomems.
