An oncologist hosting Dr Seyfried and Dr Fung in his podcast makes the show more professionally specific about cancer and its origin.

"a diet drug combination" why can't mainstream doctors understand this concept? Thanks so much for this very informative video!

And what is this obsession with cancer patients having to gain weight/avoiding the loss of weight. So the doctor instructs the patient to drink 3 ensures per day. The damned things are pure sugar and that is the last thing that patients need. In a number of years, the truth will come out.

you are the best my favorite doctors,i had breast cancer 3 years ago ,no again one small cyst find again ,doctor told me to do biopsy ,i am so sacred not to do ,any suggestions

I am no doctor, but from the millions of things that I’ve read since diagnosed with cancer myself, I would never get a biopsy. Just me but…I would tell them go in operate take the thing out and then you can biopsy it after it’s out of my body because there’s a chance that the needle will dragging through, healthy cells can spread the cancer cells and even if it’s a small chance, which is what the doctors will say, it is a chance and you don’t want them to say oops you’re the half a percentage that got cancer metastasized from that needle dragging through healthy cells. I’d push hard as I could for surgery. Remove the whole cyst get it out of there.Good luck. God bless

Getting a biopsy can cause inflammatory oncotaxis. It’s like poking a beehive.

I tend to get lots of breast cysts, some quite large. An integrative gp tested me for iodine deficiency which came back positive. Iodine treatment clears them up and quite quickly. This might be an avenue to look at

I remember an experiment when some patients were put in extremely ketosis. In one case a blood sugar was down as low as 9 mg/dl without having any signs of seizures after giving him a certain amount of insulin. That would be a good approach for start the chemotherapy.

    Great video!
I'd love to see more research done on the involvement of pathogens (bacteria, parasites etc..) in the development of cancers.
Also on the role of Oxidative stress vs Reductive stress in certain cancers, and why in some cancers there are elevated antioxidants such as high GSH, or high NADH/NAD+ ratios etc..

    Dr.Seyfried,
    1) For those who r already on the skinny side, n can't fast, how can they implement methabolic therapy?
    2) biopsy is not encouraged, so what is the best way to know if it is cancerous?

This channel is not run directly by Dr. Seyfried. Still, we strongly suggest to not lose any more weight when you are already thin, cachexia is a real issue in the long run. You can reach a very good GKI with a ketogenic diet already, adding some substrates and especially HBOT will be the best options for a good managing protocl. You can search on our community platform for free for more information on fasting when already lean, also take a look at our Whiteboard here: www.canva.com/design/DAGN1zRPudM/7Dx9ltNQ9_lNcSScU8N5_g/edit?DAGN1zRPudM&

Would taking metformin interfere with the metabolic process?

    • @RobCLynch
      @RobCLynch 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

If the person is taking insulin because they're type 2 diabetic, the diabetes should be addressed with metabolic therapy. However, I think you may be alluding to using Metformin to increase the level of 'deep' ketosis. In that instance, a body that is already in ketosis by using Metformin to deepen the metabolic effect. The info is all over TH-cam inside these Dr Thomas Seyfried interview videos. If I was a cancer sufferer, I would be spending every minute of every day looking for the clues...they are out there. But until this becomes standard of care (which it will) we're on our own folks.

Acc to the somatic mutation theory, cancer begins with a genetic change in a single cell...
So what actually causes this genetic change????

Is it reducing availability of glucose as fuel for cancer cells… or the attendant reduction in insulin that accompanies the drop in glucose? If insulin, as a “growth “ hormone promotes the growth of tumors, does limiting insulin reduce the rate of division/growth?
