  • In this video in Hindi we discussed about the torsional rigidity of an object. Torsional rigidity is also known as the twisting couple per unit twist. As the name suggests it is the amount of twisting couple or torque required to twist the object by one unit angle, i.e., one radian. In this lesson we found out the twisting couple required to twist a cylinder by one radian.

      =pi (x square +dx square +2 x dx)-pi xsquare
      Here we neglect dx square because square of small quantity becomes too small
      Now
      Pi x square +pi (2 x dx)-pi x square
      Pi x square is cancell
