Yes it does have an Micro SD card port ... but, mine only seems to work if you are using the RX Drone App to save the picture or video recording to the SD card. For some reason, mine will not record to the card using the TX only. Very odd ...
I am impressed that they are using a decent color. I really dig orange things. The backpack case reminds me of a camera drone that I have from 2 years ago. I’m not surprised about that.
Great Video. I'm glad you review "low budget" or "toy grade" drones and other planes bi-coptors. Its cool, not always top tier products, but an overall fun viewing. It is helpful for those individual who what to get into drones, but are on the fence and don't want to break the bank getting into on this hobby. But I'm not sure if this is the best one to start with. Thanks for the review.

I found the latency to be not very good. I doubt if you'll be able to fly using your phone video in a goggle set ... video very slow. You will crash 1 second before you actually see it! However, it does handle very well indoors as the optical camera looking below works very nicely. Do recommend that you do the Gyroscope calibration before any indoor flight. It does seem to have enough power to lift some extra weight, however I found the included camera and gimbal works pretty good except for the camera's distorted "wide angle" view which I don't particularly like.

Damn, that multirotor was good for the price... nice and visible orange, gimbal seemed extremely stable for the conditions and price... camera was ok... but damn... the GPS accuracy sucked... it's in the ballpark of worried it could loose lock and think home is somewhere else... with 13-14 satellite lock the whole timeit should have had sub-meter accuracy... and seriously... it flys home backwards? lol I think I'll wait for the next revision... but the cheap ones are certainly getting a lot better!

Very confusing little drone, maybe it's confused. Specs aren't too bad especially for the price but it really looks and acts like a toy. For a child that wants a camera drone but isn't old enough to have a more expensive one, this seems like a viable option.
I’ve only had this L800 Pro2 for a couple of days. It’s ok for what I paid for it, but it does have a few issues. Not particularly good for FPV (with goggles) since the phone screen video has a pretty bad latency (really slow). Mine will not save the video to the SD card on board the drone UNLESS the “RX Drone App” is also running and attached to the drone??? This is really odd since all of my other Camera Drones will record to the SD card either way. There is no apparent warning signal when the drone battery gets low … it just lands wherever it is at the time. The drone battery tracker on the TX screen still shows 2-3 bars when this happens. The battery does provide a decent flight time (about 20 minutes - timed). All of my tests were done when flying (mostly a hover and slow yaw moves) inside in my living room … too cold to take it outside yet. It’s very stable and does not wonder around so the Optical Flow appears to work very well for inside flights. It seemed the Geomagnetic Calibration was very easy to do, but since I have not flew it outside yet I don’t know how well the GPS actually functions. That Geomagnetic Calibration is essential for proper outside GPS functions such as Return to Home, programed waypoint flights and steady hovering. The instructions are minimal and have the usual “Chinglish” translation issues. These will be difficult for “newbees” to understand if they have never flown these machines before. But so far, no regrets.

This can be an indoor tour drone. How's the latency of the video? Can it carry a naked Gopro?
Latency isn't too bad. Yeah, has enough power for a naked gopro. Not sure if it will hover in place indoors without GPS.
