I never forgot about Rizzo playing for the Padres. I was intrigued by Rizzo the day he got called up and I knew he was gonna be a star by his first at bat.
Great video, definitely need a Part 2 of this. So weird seeing Anthony Rizzo in a uniform thats not a Cubs one, and he even was drafted by my Boston Red Sox late in the '07 draft, then shipped off to the Padres for Adrian Gonzalez, so thats how you see Rizzo in a Padres uni in the thumbnail
The tigers didn’t have another cy young winner but did have notables anibal Sanchez, joe Nathan, drew smyly, Joakim soria, joba chamberlain, and Cory knebel
How about doing a video on Long Term Guaranteed Contacts and how most players when they get those, suddenly decline. While players entering Free Agency almost always have Career years.
I have a small display in my office that has baseball cards of players that are on teams many people may have forgotten they played on. Like (keep in mind i am umm. a little old...): Pete Rose = Expos Willie Mays = Mets Big Unit = Giants Reggie Jackson = Orioles Mike Piazza = Marlins Hank Aaron = Brewers Tom Terrific = Sox Rickey Henderson = Angels Steve Carlton = Giants There should be more, but these are the ones that i had laying around. It's a fun conversation starter as that display is right under my rookies display, so it looks really strange lol. Good times...
It sucks seeing jd martinez on here. I wish he turned out with Houston to be a good player. Maybe they would have won the world series a little bit quicker with him on their squad LOL
Diehl was the only one I didn't get...I couldn't think of his name. Popped I only got because I just smashed a homer off him on MLB the show. Almost didn't get Gallegos totally forgot he was a Yankee before landing on the Cards
Hello Marc i have just subscribed to your channel! I Wanted to ask you if or when you will do a prediction about the 2022 season, based on your knowledge about the teams and the postseason-moves they have made so far.
I recognized all but 2 names but like 6 faces ☠ i was CONVINCED that Robbie Ray was Justin Verlander despite being lefty Also I actually spelled Jeff Samardzija right first try, only thing is thats actually Charlie Morton so i thought I didnt
I’m sure all these players would love to know they’re irrelevant, and don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Their fans probably appreciated it as well.
I got all but Diehl, I got Poppen only because I just smashed a homer off him playing "The Show", Grossman played for my A's, I have played franchises with the Marlins and Pirates so Steckenrider, Moran and Rich Rodriguez were easy. I almost didn't get Gallegos
As a tigers fan, this hurts me deeply seeing all the amazing players we gave up
Just him turning the knife about that pitching staff we had hurts
Same as an a’s fan
“It’s the place where people go and you forget about them.” That hurtttttt man
Same
I think about it at least once a week and hearing Marc talking about it hurt
"It's kinda the place where everyone goes and you forget about." As a Tigers fan, I felt that.
Now he’s in a Yankees uni
As an M's fan I know what Nick Margevicius looks like, and I still had no clue it was him from that picture
“Tigers. The kind of team you go to and everyone forgets about you”
Me, a tigers fan, dies
exactly
4:13 "gonna have a super white name" - Kendall Graveman...
you never get to see a blooper intro to Marc's videos, until now!
The tigers didn’t have another cy young winner but did have notables anibal Sanchez, joe Nathan, drew smyly, Joakim soria, joba chamberlain, and Cory knebel
Hey Marc! I’ll make a baseball video with you!
Ugh the lockout is so annoying. Thanks marc!
Phillip Diehl is now on the Reds. I only got him correct because I recognized his face and remembered he was once on the Rockies.
The intro was hilarious 😂
JD was my favorite player on the tigers, and then they just traded him away for nothing. Typical tigers management things
Robbie Grossman that hurts as a tigers fan
How about doing a video on Long Term Guaranteed Contacts and how most players when they get those, suddenly decline. While players entering Free Agency almost always have Career years.
I’m an Astros fan and I didn’t even know Robbie Grossman played for the Astros
The one on the Astros who is number 19 is Robbie Grossman
After the first 5 I was like oh god this is gonna be easy, then I only got like two more out of the next 25 lol
Video idea: Ranking all 30 general managers
Let's go boys. It's always a great day when Marc uploads!
Anthony Rizzo on the Padres hurts
7:42 I was screaming Tyler Clippard
I remember when Vladimir Guerrero played for the Orioles in 2011
good quiz. I've watched you on other ones and list them easy.
Sean Poppen and Robbie Grossman. Twins LEGENDS.
The Grossman one was a dead giveaway with athletics logo
Nelson Cruz was so hard
Anyone else notice that he took up the whole first minute geeking out on players? Pooor time management hahaha
Two of the guys you didn’t get were mariner relivers, just shows how our pitching coaches made great relievers out of nobody’s
Nice one Marc
How was I convinced that Tommy Kahnle was Ryne Stanek. I swear that Rockies pitcher was a picture of Ryne Stanek that whole time.
Baseball season almost here guys, hang on, Rays got it this year
I have a small display in my office that has baseball cards of players that are on teams many people may have forgotten they played on. Like (keep in mind i am umm. a little old...):
Pete Rose = Expos
Willie Mays = Mets
Big Unit = Giants
Reggie Jackson = Orioles

Rickey Henderson = Angels
Steve Carlton = Giants
There should be more, but these are the ones that i had laying around. It's a fun conversation starter as that display is right under my rookies display, so it looks really strange lol. Good times...
I just die laughing every time you say who are you lmao
How did you not ger Robbie Grossman
It sucks seeing jd martinez on here. I wish he turned out with Houston to be a good player. Maybe they would have won the world series a little bit quicker with him on their squad LOL
I got to watch Sean Poppen grow up in Ft Myers (Miracle) in the twins organization
Not sure how JD is a forgettable tiger. Astros would’ve been a better pick for the thumbnail, or DBacks
Video about players who had a "change of scenery" and it transformed their careers in the past decade?
I legitimately have never heard of Sean Poppen
Holy shit I was the 1 guy who got diehl. Played the quiz at like 10am and only got diehl because I am indeed a diehard Rockies fan
Diehl was the only one I didn't get...I couldn't think of his name. Popped I only got because I just smashed a homer off him on MLB the show. Almost didn't get Gallegos totally forgot he was a Yankee before landing on the Cards
I got Phillip diehl just cuz I’m a Rockies fan and I remember him giving up a moonshot to Baez
Hello Marc i have just subscribed to your channel! I Wanted to ask you if or when you will do a prediction about the 2022 season, based on your knowledge about the teams and the postseason-moves they have made so far.
Playing the beginning on repeat sounds like the beginning of “we will rock you” by queen.
I really forgot that was Giovanny Gallegos lmao, seems like forever when we traded him for Voit
Title is mlb players you forgot played for this team, and Marc out here guessing all players known for the team they’re wearing their uniform in
Spilled water lol hahaha! it was funny
I recognized all but 2 names but like 6 faces ☠ i was CONVINCED that Robbie Ray was Justin Verlander despite being lefty
Also I actually spelled Jeff Samardzija right first try, only thing is thats actually Charlie Morton so i thought I didnt
As a HUGE Rockets fan, I never forget JD Martinez and Keke Hernandez played for the Astros, Keke Hernandez hit his 1st career homer with the Astros
I'm a brewers fan and i forgot we had Nelson Cruz
Am I the only person who absolutely breezed through every single person he had major issues recognizing?
Got 18. I didn’t recognize Moran without the beard
I still find it insane that Lew Ford is still playing ball at 45 years old......
I’m sure all these players would love to know they’re irrelevant, and don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Their fans probably appreciated it as well.
The last Detroit guy was Joe Mantiply
As a Pirates fan I knew who Sean Popped was.
I’m a diehard pirates fan and never heard of that guy
I only now Phillip Diehl because he thought he cut CC in line for the barber and then got immediately traded
went to mets trivia night at city feild other night season ticket holders but i think you would have killed it
That was driving me insane Robbie grossman
The tigers in 2013 had 5 World Series winning pitchers
But they won them in other cities
Marlins: I’m gonna pretend I didn’t see that.
I did not know Giovanni Gallegos’s played for the. Yankees
I was today years old that I found out Giovanny Gallegos played for the New York Yankees. Even as a Yankees fan I didn't know he played for them.
Luke Voit trade i believe
I would've just guessed Edwin Jackson every time.
Craziest roster i saw was the dbacks back in the late 2000s early 2010s had Max Scherzer and Randy Johnson on the same roster
I thought the first one was daniel hudson but it was max scherzer instead. Specially I'm an diamondbacks fan
I knew that was Steckenrider.
DJ WAS ON ROCKIES
You should de reactions again like back in 2020
Charlie Morton started with the Braves sir
I got all but Diehl, I got Poppen only because I just smashed a homer off him playing "The Show", Grossman played for my A's, I have played franchises with the Marlins and Pirates so Steckenrider, Moran and Rich Rodriguez were easy. I almost didn't get Gallegos
That was easy how did you not get Kyle Freeland for the padre guy.
I know sean poppen because I watch the pirates
I’m a diehard Rockies fan and I knew that that was Philip diehl
I was yelling robbie grossman ate mark 4 so long
I’ve met and taken pictures with Sean poppen and I still had no clue who that was🤣🤣
16 is Giovanni gallegos I think...
I know who Phillip deal but he’s on the Rockies right now
Doug Fister is the other Tigers pitcher
POV You” He knows his players” Me How is he not making a spelling error!
Only one I got that he didn't was Grossman but only bc I'm a die hard tigers fan
"He's got a lot of teeth" 🤣
How did you not know jd played for the tigers
Shocked you didn’t get Grossman
Just sayin', no one forgot Viklar was an Astros all thanks to the Brandon Phillips slide
Only one I knew that you got wrong was Grossman lol.
Who else was screaming Gallegos since he got to him!
Number 19 on astros is robbie Grossman
I have a Randy Arozarena card of him with the Cards.
The harder dudes have some of the goofiest last names😭
I’m not even a minute through the video and i know the tigers are about to be half of this list
Edit: close enough
Sean poppen is on the twins now
Somehow got phillip deihl right and I'm not even a rockies fan
"who are you?" -Marc
This physically hurt to watch as a Tigers fan
I got poppen and Diehl because I probably care to much about baseball
Got 22/30
I think 🤔
