  • Lead scoring is a method to determine how sales-ready your leads are and to identify your MQLs. It means that your leads get points when they fulfill certain criteria that you set up, what we call lead score rules. The higher points your lead has, the more sales-ready it is.
To get started with lead scoring, you need to decide what you want to score your leads on. That's what you learn in this video; what you need to think about when setting up your lead scoring model and some common lead scoring mistakes.

We tried scoring as you described with points could never get it right . They on average had low conversions. It wasn’t until we changed it to be more black and white: if this happens and this criteria is met route it. if not don’t.
