    Tip for that front pouch. Put a heat gun on the middle pocket to “shape”that middle pocket more flat-make it kind of boxy. (Versus the roundish profile it comes with. That’s what i did. I essentially squared off the middle pocket, which creates space in the front pocket. I can use the front pouch now.

    It's the best pouch I've ever used, but I wish they could make one without the two screwdriver pockets in the back centre. For running pipe I run more pliers than screwdrivers so on mine those screwdriver pockets are squished down to make room to carry cobras. Wish they were gone so I'd have more room.

    Really like my MP2X. For some of the reasons you've mentioned, I switched this over to my low voltage pouch.. smaller tools seem to fit and function better in and out of this pouch. Within the last month, I've gone to the badger electricians tool pouch. It's sort of a deep bag, but nicely laid out, long drivers fit well, and love the bottom "parts pouch" thats attached. I do a lot of ladder and scissor lift work, so it's nice to keep connectors and wire nuts in. Thanks for the video buddy, always enjoy tuning in 👍

      Dude I’ve been seeing those ads for badgers pouches everywhere. They look nice. Thanks brotha🫡

      @@DelgadoElectric I have badger carpeners set on a ocl beltless reto kit on stronghold suspenders i can attest to there organization and quality. Last video i saw of the electricans set it isnt wildly diffrent from the carpenters one and even at that i can see how a electrician could use the carpenters bags for electrical work. I do them them more than my occidental leather set the weight noticeably lighter by pounds. They are slimmer and taper down in a V shape to make them unobtrusive. Keep an eye out for used on az thats hot i got my badgers for around 100 bucks a third of the price. I cant speak to the actual belt or suspenders since i never used them i just bought the small set and used it for the pouches. As someone who has a ocidental leather comercial electricans bags i would rather wear badgers if it worked for the tools i use using.

    New sub here; you have MattHmm to blame; coming over from Morgan's Maintenance.
    I'm a recently-retired computer / networking and DIY guy; Dad gave me batteries and light bulbs when I was 2 (two). I've rarely needed to carry a lot of tools; the MP2X would be big for me, but I like my MP1X and I'm going to get a MPX because I still want to do some freelance work. Time to explore your content...

      @@DelgadoElectric Id call them medium compared to a truewerk t1 more like a t2. I had a pair and of thoes ultimate fire hose and not as cool as youd think for the thickness of the fabric. Thats why the t1 or xp are my pick.

      Those are nice but the goofy Velcro straps or whatever they are on the hips are dumb which is why I passed them over. I got wrangler Riggs double front pants instead. Side leg pockets and accepts knee pads.

      @MattHmm-rq6dn 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@WalterMelons They make a t1 xp pant now that has double knee front reinforced in critical places with knee pad slots. They are still just as cool and light as t1 but tougher.

    The mp2x is great 👍. There's been some wasted money getting to this including the mpx get bigger. Alot of tracer or pica style pencils/markers are around for a reason. They fit in the front pockets and were down right so you can pull it out without taking the holster with it. I don't like long tools to stab my legs as well it's why I choose a rscheting pb swiss stubby for a multi bit. Insulated/comfort grip handles are tricky the Japanese cross cuts seem to fit really well as a form of linemens. I have noticed a stretch and lean of the leather but only makes the angle more comfortable on my side anyways 😆. I'd get that santronics that has soud because it's square and less prone to damage pulling it out. Try one of thoes mini mag mats with the tape thong and run it behind the flap. Then it's out of your way but accessible when your working. I don't use side cutters much anymore I found a use for that narrow front pocket. The knipex step cuts fit in there and cut anything being only 6in long. Feel free to try new stuff you never know what you'll like in the end.

      That’s it, I’m ordering the tracer pencil right now. It must be legit! And you can never go wrong with any PB Swiss. 🫡⚡️

      Buy a set that has the lead holder in it much better value. I think pica is the better pencil in the end than tracer but the tracer fits in the mp2x a little better. My kit came with marker pencil and refills from tracer.

    have the original mp2 for a year or so an the bottom of the pockets are ripping from the seems. it's from my flat head tearing through it. I thought this pouch could hold up to it but I guess not. idk if the warranty will cover it. ill probably be more cautious if I get this version 2nd time around

      First time I heard of that happening, my original mp1 held up pretty nice. The button started failing on me though that’s why I bought this one 🫡⚡️

    one tip i can give you to utilize the front pocket, is putting a magnet in it. therefore you can hold screws on the metal part

      MM has a video on it and i tried it does work but you can put a holstery mag master on it. I do suggest the pro if you do so the coated rubber on it keep ceiling fan and other decorative screws from getting scratches. Also if you rub on a wall it won't make a mark.
