Can I get a decent coastal shot in drizzle, wind and flat light?

  • Join me on a little wander along the coast near St Agnes, Cornwall. It's a windy mizzerly day and despite loving the atmosphere finding a composition that held together in the flat light proved tricky. So I tried something a little different so I could go super wide and get the WHOLE scene in. The joys of panorama stitching!
It is surprisingly straight-forward and a great technique to try out.

NB: This video shows me getting close to a cliff edge. Please do NOT take that as a promotion for inviting risk. I have decades of experience working at height and in hostile environments and used my judgement, ultimately calling it off and heading in land. People get blown off sea cliffs every year, be sensible with it and don't be the casualty!
