Told my boss about it while we were having lunch, showed him the add. He knew I was excited, even congratulated me. We finished eating, I went back to work, he took the afternoon off. The next day.... Well, I was fired before lunch...

This story is incredibly similar to my recent find. Found a vague posting for an 02 Tacoma. Ended up being a loaded crew cab, for 3500$. Undervalued by the owners due to high miles and a quote for a 2000$ OEM cat. Ended up with a truck worth easily 12k just by being straight to the point with money in my pocket.

993 was ahead of its time, besides switching to water cooled the car remained the same minus fender flares, headlights , etc 996, 997 are nice I’d take one but, still the 993 is an icon and one of the most aggressive looking Porsche’s they did. the bad boys movie Porsche 993 just put icing on the cake of a car I already loved so much. The 993 was the pinnacle of the air cooled era, the best of the air cooled, which unfortunately came to an end. Nice to see one always

I suggest the following Country wide gear head themed scavenger hunt for the 1 million subscriber mark. Something that people could document on video and send to you while they are looking for the car. Make good clues relating to your channel or something like that I haven't seen a channel wide event in a while where you can reach all your viewers for an actual amazing final price.

Wish I had a cool story about my 987.1 Cayman S purchase lol. Only interesting thing is that in the time I was shopping around it was the only 987.1 Cayman that i saw for sale at a Porsche dealership (in CA). All the rest were for sale at random dealerships or private party. It was in immaculate condition inside and out. No regrets. Just wish I could’ve knocked another couple thousand off the price. Guess I’m not a shrewd enough negotiator yet.
